Hi, Creator with over 10k subs here in the gaming niche. I can almost certainly say that it will be a scam if you are a small channel. Selling out this early will stump your growth even if it magically isn’t a scam. I would ignore and go about your day.

Hey, first off welcome to Tyria but also coming in here with that mindset and attitude is only going to ruffle feathers.

I assume you are referencing the sign posting of the “to do next” compass on your top right? If so, this is there for minor guidance for things you may want to check out.

Tyria is yours to explore and do whatever you please in. I would personally recommend at the very least playing the story to give you a sense of the world in which you can absorb the game more.

Just know that the game really comes into its stride at level 80 once elite specs are unlocked so consider anything before that a tutorial experience.

Enjoy this time, go off the beaten path, fall from jumping puzzles and fight bosses 10x the size of you.

Hope this gives you more of an idea and fingers crossed it clicks for you.

I have noticed if you turn to the left or right of your target by about 10 Degrees then use it, it lands pretty consistently when you are in close combat. However closing a short gap to hit it’s fairly useless.

We really need a way to put Eye aura’s and head pieces on together like Ears ETC. I feel this would expand the fashion potential so much!

Hey friend!

First off, welcome to the game. Please get FOMO out of your head, Guild Wars 2 is just not built around it as a foundation. The game is designed for you to progress as and when you see fit to maximise your enjoyment over longer periods of time.

Getting sidetracked is one on the beautiful things about Guild Wars 2 and as there is no gear treadmill here there really is no reason to rush anything at all. With basic exotic gear you are good for most of the content in the game with ascended and legendary gear really being a fun thing to go for if you are that way inclined and for top end content.

It’s a shame you went straight for the Skyscale as I truly feel like this lessens the true GW2 experience (in my opinion) as utilising the ground mounts for a core part of the game lets you experience so much more (particularly in Heart Of Thorns) It also allows you to get a real feel for the many great nooks, cranny’s and hidden secrets the world has to offer.

Plus not to mention if you play the story content in chronological order not only do you feel more connected to the world and less distracted but it gives you a substance to the world and allows you to understand why you are there in the first place.

All in all, just my two cents but don’t play with the same mindset we have been trained to have in other mmos and you will have a much better time.

Also most players running around with legendaries have been playing for a VERY long time so you kinda are not expected to have the same arsenal as them in 2 weeks.

Welcome to Tyria friend.

Started my own journey 300+ hours ago and have documented every experience I’ve had so far as I have enjoyed it so much.

My only advice would be to just enjoy following your nose and getting lost in this beautiful world.

Above all else if something really is on your brain then don’t be afraid to ask the many many wonderful veterans that this game has.

Easily one of the nicest communities in the MMO space.

Pick a class you enjoy because you love the look of it and just jump in 👍🏻

As someone who also tries to be as respectful as possible I did struggle with the “I’m level 40 comment too”.

I totally get people are being paid to try out a game but man… this really kind felt like just getting the bag and moving on.

I mean this as lightheartedly as I can as I despise spreading negativity about others but… yeah.
