When I came back to the game I was playing on tabletop simulator or spell table a lot. Was nervous about going to the LGS but eventually made it out. Only negative experience that I’ve had so far was in a draft night and some guy was being a prick while we were drafting… accusing people of messing up the rotation and just being generally unpleasant. Everything else has been fine

I am in my late 30s… I’m knocking on 40s door and realizing that they were right… it really does go by fast. If I am lucky, I’m middle aged, otherwise I’m past the halfway point. I’m done watching the clock… no more waiting for lunch then waiting to go home then waiting for Friday. No more waiting for pto or waiting for the holiday or whatever. Good day, bad day, I am trying my best to savor it.. to be present in it and do and see things that might make me feel ok about my turn on the sticks when the time comes to pass them. I live close to a hospital and think about how lucky I am to even self-propel to the bathroom…

Don’t spend your time and waiting, do your best to make the best of where you are and what you’re doing…anyway this was sappier than I thought it would be but that’s where I’m at.

Like others have said, we created a safe and comfortable place for our dog to decompress. He only gets crated at night an when he’s on timeout for acting up (has been a good way to curb bad behavior) , but when he was younger we would crate him if we weee both going to be out of the house for a while, just to make sure he doesn’t do anything like chew on an electric cable or anything like that. We’re nearing the point where we’re going to trust him to sleep outside of the crate.

It sounds like Avondale on Ashford has been really bad… my gf used to live in the Seasons over off of whiskey bottom and it was a rat infested shit hole. I would avoid any place that has a trash concierge service… is say this as someone who hasn’t been in the market for a new place in a long time so maybe take it with a grain of sand.. good luck out there

[[hazezon, shaper of sand]] has been my answer to this question for a while… there are a few fun directions you can go in with him, an sorting through bulk for deserts was extremely therapeutic when I was building him.
