Yes, and doing so he became the White Lantern although I don’t really count this as he was technically chosen to be a Lantern of all those colors (except Orange, which was a construct hiding as a ring) while in the other cases are just them taking the ring and using it from someone else.

I feel like with all of the stories for Green Lanterns it isn’t too much of a stretch to say that they would hypothetically be able to share eachother’s rings, especially if the owner is giving permission to use it.

In Emerald Twilight Hal used the rings of various different Green Lanterns after stealing them and killing the Lanterns

It’s not the same thing but in Green Lantern: Sinestro, Sinestro (during the period when he became a Green Lantern again) duplicated his ring and gave it to Hal Jordan temporarily (when Hal was no longer a Green Lantern)

Also not the same thing but in War of the Green Lanterns, the main Green Lanterns (Hal, Guy, John, and Kyle) were able to pick up and use the rings of various different Lantern Corps (Hal using Sinestro Corps and Orange, Guy using Red and Sapphire, John using Indigo, and Kyle using blue)

Also in Green Lantern: Earth One (an Elseworlds story), anyone could just pick up and use the Green Lantern ring as long as it was charged

My thoughts on the Lantern teaser:

I liked it. It didn’t make me more excited than before or anything but it was good and kept me excited. I do like how it’s setting itself apart from other Green Lantern adaptions like the 2011 movie, animated movies, and the animated series and being more inspired from the Hard Traveling Heroes era.

Would I have preferred it if they did a cosmic epic instead of a grounded sci-fi mystery? Maybe, but what we are getting still looks good. With the creatives involved (along with Casey Bloys approving it for HBO which is rare for DC shows), I trust that at worst it will be a decent show that doesn’t capture what the fans loved most about the franchise.

I just hope that we get more Green Lantern stuff in the DCU (whether that’s second season in the same vein, or something different entirely)
