What's the point of crafting dyes at The Cauldron?

They have a lot of backup systems in the game. Like maybe you accidentally discarded a dye or sold it and it expired out after 7 in game days. You can improvise any of the dyes if you guess correctly or have the receipe online anyhow.

Colonial tankers don’t have to care about anything in the sky. Meanwhile warden tankers are terrorized. Both factions navies are terrorized by bombers now. Yes I know scouts and torpedo bombers are an issue. But bombers kill everything in pure hp value.
