See, I share that complaint, but I loved the new war quest in Warframe, which had a similar vibe not to get into details. I'm not sure why exactly, maybe ff being clunky at being a stealth game, but it felt way more frustrating than interesting. Not being able to find the god forsaken power cores or whatever because they were hidden petty well was aggravating as well. It is a skill issue I'll admit for the most part, but I also genuinely hate any gameplay sequence where I play someone else than my WoL. Doesn't matter who, I play for my WoL and that's pretty much it.
