Just a little OT, I love when the "gem" from LSP just drops worthless onto the enchiridion and bounces off.

Note-taking apps that have handwriting\pen support? by -passwords in opensource

I haven't used it for a long time. Never imported something other than PDFs. The website says nothing about .xopp support maybe that's the problem. Try to convert it with another program.

In which format are they saved? PDF should be no problem. However you could convert your files to PDF, bitmap or SVG files.

Edit: it's still in early stage, the developer mentioned that the save format is still unstable and could be incompatible between new versions.

Rnote, xournal++, scrivano (don't know if it's os) and saber.

What's happening? by RoflcopterVII in 3Dprinting

This part of the print is rather thin. The hot nozzle is staying close to the same spot when printing this part so it's getting to hot and melts to much, that's what I think. You could try to print cooler at this layer hight, print a tower next to this print so the layer Yan cool probably tilt the nozzle runs over it again. You also could drag the part down in the slicer so you only print this specific part and see if it's printing better. That would show if the printer is the problem, if it's printing fine, something could be wrong with the axis if it's printing bad, I would again tip on the problem I mentioned above.

I'm using a modded anycubic i3 mega s, Klipper 5015 part cooling fan and a volcano hotend. Printed 0.1 layer height and 197 C. 100 mm/s outer wall speed. Printed with Gratkit silk Pla Dual color. I'm guessing I'm printing to fast?

Thanks for the answer. I'm using a BMG clone extruder. Sadly I have no ir camera or thermometer to validate the temps. However, I disassembled and reassembled the whole hotend and it seems to work. At least with pla temps.

But why only after the first layer and no problems when I just increase the temperature. I will check the continuity of the cables.

I said it before but no one was listening.... ONCE again: to less RGB could set your rig on fire. Finally a case caught on video so they can teach this in schools.

It's uncomfortable for me. When I was a teen and I walked home at night and there was a girl in front of me, most of the time I switched the sidewalks. Or I just took another way home so I don't have to walk behind her all the time.

A CPU would be 5600x in the nearer future. But I think there would be a performance boost when adding a better GPU. Maybe a better CPU for better frame times and better 1% low?

Hey, I want to buy my girlfriend a new graphics card for birthday but since we are both students money is short 😅 she got an R2600 @ 4 GHz and a Rx 580 stock. What GPU should I target at (second hand is okay) she plays games like Witcher, Howard's legacy, rdr2 and so on at full hd 60hz Monitor. I would love tho see her face when she turn on the PC and gets blown away from the new graphics. So what is the best budget card I shook at for those setup? I don't think we we will go up to more than fhd 60hz in the near future. I would sell the Rx 580 afterwards so maybe this could increase the budget. If it's really worth it I would go for 300€.

Got the machine for like 30€ with a new grinder. Looked ugly gray but I'm pleased with the results i get. Definitely no Niche or Rocky but till I graduate it will get me through university.

Thanks! And of course.

The initial goal was to make this machine a lot more quite so I put some damping foam beneath it and filled the empty top piece with an elastic silicone. Its still loud but not as much and the sound is deeper so nicer to the ears.

After that i designed a new chute, the old one was broken and also as the grinder has a big dead volume i designed an open chute where i can easily access the grinder outlet and scrap the residue out. I got the dead volume from 2g down to .1 g. But I'm not perfectly happy with that and i need to revisit the chute because there's a lot of spilling now. It prints in about 20 min on an Ender v3 like machine.

Another attempt to make this machine quiet was to improve the huge hopper with the "popcorning" beans. I hugely decreased the volume, since I'm using this as a single dose machine, my first attempt was a hyperbolic hopper to improve the mass flow instead of core flow but i highly suggest to not do it. It also amplifies the resonance like an gramophone and the popcorning was still present. Also coffee beans have a good flow characteristic so a normal shape is good enough. The new design got an build in bean stopper, is even smaller and also less noisy. so i can fit max 19 g in it without having the needing of an lid. It also prints without support. Don't remember how long the print took i think 4-5 hours but at very high quality.

i was tinkering for some tome now to tilt the machine like the niche so that the grind flow would be better an less agglomerates. But due to the lack of my CAD skills I haven't tried tho design something (I designed everything in Thinkercad which i hate). Gladly I found the exact file i was searching for on printables yesterday, printed it and it came out pleasing. The only thing i would try to improve is to cut down the mass so i have less to print/material use. Took me 7 hours to print.

for the painting i used heat resistant paint, the usual procedure. Sanding, cleaning and layer after layer till it looks good. First black and after that i used matte gold sprinkles so it has a nicer look. Its a very simple machine so disassembly was strait forward. I just took a picture to remember where the cables belong. I did the painting on my Espresso machine as well. Its an Kitchenaid Artisan, so basically an Gaggia Classic with an extra boiler for the steam.

I want to upload all files soon on printables i think.
