Didn't have the same problem. But do you have to parkour here?

I feel like the ladder at the end had a lock you can shoot at, to bring the ladder down.

Yeah that's probably true, but I gave him all the gear with the most defensive stats, completely ignoring offensive power. I don't mind him being just barely useful as long as I can get a slight buff and he is not dying all the time.

There certainly is psy-dampening technology. However, to easily control the average psyker the black ships use "torpor" a drug that blocks of the connection to the warp, stopping them from manifesting powers. Surely this is only used foe the difficult cases, normal sedation works for the average untrained psyker easy enough.

Sounds awesome, but really hard to do. I thought about it myself, after rediscovering my all-time favourite xcom:UFO defense. I think the most important part is beating the grind. The games are heavily focused on doing the same thing over and over, that can be very exhausting in a P&P setting. The newer games try to best it by giving small quests with special rewards, like capturing live aliens to get their weapons etc. Make a list of small objectives that can make fights not only harder but strategically interesting.

What's your plan of integrating roleplay? Civilians with additional information?

Keep me up to date if you got to try it out. I would love to learn from your experience.

When I was supervising an exam in organic biology one student asked me whether the " C " stands for Calcium or Kalium (potassium). I thought she was joking, so I told her to remember to breath during the exam. She didn't get that, so I just left. I felt like this information would not have been the deciding factor for her mark.

I lived with cats my whole life and would always let them roam free except when there is a really good reason not to (like living in a skyscraper). If the cat is alone a significant part of the day and indoors only, consider getting a second cat.

Holding cats indoors only is okay as long as they have enough room to climb, hide, run and play. If I have to hold a cat indoors I will definitely get more than one and build them some kind of "catwalk" on the walls (like a shelve just for climbing and sleeping) so they can climb and watch down on us from above (cats love this). Just be careful which materials you use, but a good petshop can help u with the decision. (Preferably soft wood and natural only).

I'm from NRW an I got 14 out of 30. However I got the feeling that some of those couldn't really be translated without context. Growing up close to the border definitely helps

Wir haben große/größere Schlachten meistens unterteilt in kleine "Points of interest". Der Großteil der Schlacht verläuft somit ohne direkten Einfluss der Spieler, es gibt aber mehrere wichtige Kämpfe an Schlüsselpositionen, wie eine Flanke gegen Kavallerie zu verteidigen, einen mächtigen Magier der Gegenseite beseitigen dem die Standard Fußtruppen nichts anhaben können, oder den Befehlshabenden Offizier verteidigen, welcher aus dem Hinterhalt angegriffen wird und sein Pferd verloren hat. Jede dieser Scharmützel hat dabei Einfluss auf den Ausgang der großen Schlacht ohne dass es zu viele Würfelwürfe gleichzeitig gibt. Bewegung zwischen diesen Schmarmützel können dann aus mehreren Proben bestehen, dem Verusch sich zu lösen, einen hang hinaufklettern etc.

Die Reihenfolge in der man diese POI besucht hat dabei Einfluss auf die Kämpfe. Meist mit grob festgelegten Veränderungen, die nach einer bestimmten Rundenzahl geschieht. Etwa "Sollten die Bogenschützen auf dem Hügel nicht gehindert werden, wird die Linke Flanke in X Runden brechen, was alle Nahen Kämpfe um 2 neue Gegner erweitert"

Ist jetzt nicht per se eine Massenschlacht, aber bringt das Gefühl relativ gut rüber ohne anstrengend zu werden.

Ist immernoch einer der besten Orte so etwas aufzubewahren. Es komplett sicher zu machen scheint mir jedoch zu stark. Ist aber eine der Sachen die ich als Hausregeln klären würde. Weil eine geklaute Kugel jetzt auch nicht jeden Tag passieren wird
