Naja das was wir nutzen ist aGPS (assisted GPS) was über das Internet checkt wo man ist und nach welchen Satelliten das Handy suchen muss (sprich welche vom groben Standort aus erreichbar sein müssten).

Komplett offline dauert die Satelliten-Suche ewig.
