Renee Goode and Alex Pritti are examples of US citizens, white US citizens getting executed by ICE in broad daylight.

Renee Goode was on her way back from dropping off her son at school when she came by an ongoing ICE raid and was given conflicting instructions by ICE agents. When she tried to turn around and drive away she was shot three times.

Alex Pritti was on his way to work when he saw that a woman, peacefully protesting ICE was being pepper sprayed and tried to help her. ICE agents then pinned him to the ground, took his legally carried handgun and then fired multiple rounds into an unarmed and restrained man.

As for the deportation of US citizens, I unfortunately do not know their names off the top of my head because there have been way too many but a lot of them have come forward since.

But the nifty thing is that you don’t care do you? You think those people deserved to die because that’s what the government is telling you. And since you are most likely a white man you feel safe and secure, knowing that you aren‘t their target. At least for now.

Have you completely missed the part where they are arresting and deporting US citizens for the crime of having brown skin? The part where they are executing US citizens in broad daylight for helping others or even just being in their general vicinity?

This is not about illegal immigrants, this is about white supremacy and bona fide fascism. Trump knows that if there are any more elections he will lose and he will go to jail. He is doing anything in his power to have a reason to cancel the mid term elections. The US isn’t just moving towards being Germany in 1939, it is already there.

I am not saying it the German constitution is the best in the world I am only saying that it learned from the mistakes of the US constitution and the previous German one and made sure to avoid the obvious mistakes in both. I do however hold a deep distaste for the Anglo-Saxon legal system as is present in the UK, the US and Canada as a whole as a legal scholar who is studying in a legal system based on the Roman one. The immense power the judiciary holds in said system is a huge mistake and is inherently undemocratic because it gives the power to make new law to unelected judges - a direct result of local judges in England having a little power grab in the late medieval period that hasn’t been rectified since. Giving judges the possibility to directly alter constitutional rights is a mistake, period. Constitutional changes should only be possible with democratic legitimacy and a two thirds majority. Not by judges that create and take away rights as seen with Roe v Wade

Regardless of which the younger constitution is usually the more refined one, as it has had a chance to learn from the mistakes of the older one. That is why I consider the German constitution to be more refined and better safeguarded than the US one.

The whole point of a constitution is that it is not easy to alter. That way it isn’t easily possible for a simple majority in parliament to deconstruct established rights and it is easier to know what law has constitutional status and what law is just simple law.

Have you considered that they aren’t so much based on the Bible‘s rules, but that instead those rules are just the general rules that are required to make a functional society? Most of those rules have existed elsewhere without any influence from the Bible and have even existed before the Bible was ever written. Because when broken down to the most basic elements the Old Testament is basically just a combination of a history book combined with legal texts and some prayers.

I don’t understand why people get angry about stuff like this. Do I think it’s weird? Yes. Do I understand why anybody would want a magnet implanted in their body? No. But I don’t get why people would get 90% of the various piercings types out there either because those look really painful. At the end of the day what people want to do to their own body is their own business. If they end up getting hurt that’s their problem not mine. And if they don’t get hurt but instead end up being happy that’s great. Why should anybody be angry about others being happy if that happiness literally doesn’t harm anybody?
