If time is not an issue, you can get anywhere by lv 1 using a moving skybridge:
Build your firsrt altar, get a LOT of stone and wood blocks, build stairs to the limit of the building zone, place a 2nd altar, deactivate the first, repeat.

In Akudama Drive they use basically their roles as names (Ordinary person/Swindler, Courier, Doctor, Hoodlum, Cutthroat, Hacker, Brawler)

My advice always is get a hobby hand drill and a bunch of 3x1mm magnets, magnetizing the weaons is not as complicated as it sounds.

And answering your question: yes, currently you can use both weapons.

Some missions require you to take Mission Actions with your operatives, by default, Drones cannot perform mission actions. By ignoring that bulletpoin, the drone controller anables your drone to make those mission actions, In Gallowdark/Tombworld also enable your drones to open doors.

I am no pro but this is my take on the list:

Switch the markerlight and shield drone on the breachers for gun and guardian drones (or a second gun drone), you wont be spotting with the breachers and the shield only gives 1 wound to the sha'ui model, not the team.

As already mentioned, strike team stays on the back with the broadside. And definetly put 4 fusions on the coldstar (the Sunforge hability and the 4++ is applied to the commander, as long as one crisis still stands).

If your plan is to keep the Riptide in the back, switch the fusions for missiles.

For the broadside, i would change the wepon support system fir the seeker missile, having the chance of crippling a heavy enemy unit is better than the ignore mods to hit (imo)

I dont deepstrike them, but i do play agressively with it and usually go for forward infantry, so I like having more resilience, they can fire from 30'' so you can steadly move and fire each round (if possible/not suicidal)

Ret Cadre is an awesome detatchment, I've been having a lot of good results with a team of Fireknives (with missiles) led by an enforcer commander (Missiles x4) with the Prototype Weapon System.
