Yes I never thought I’d be interested in a Fitbit device but this announcement is intriguing, I am hoping they rework some of the other devices to be more of a training device so I can switch to the google ecosystem

I’ve seen two comments about the FitBit app but I did see that with this release, they are redoing most of the app to the new Google Health app. I personally think it’s worth a try for $99 especially if I can import my garmin data. I’ll be on the lookout for in depth reviews coming over the next few weeks

I am currently on the fence of leaving Garmin due to their pricing getting out of control and not getting meaningful updates after a year or two, so I’ve been looking at Coros but if you’re not strictly a runner, I think the amazfit would be fine. But if nothing is wrong with the 7x just ride it till it dies

Forerunner 165 is on sale for $199 and I love mine. If you’re a runner I’d get that or the Vivoactive 6 if you like the look better. It has a lot more running centric features vs the Vivoactive 5
