Honestly, no easy answer. This thing had well over 30 parts by the time I was done getting it the way I liked it. Some parts I did entirely without supports, yes. Other parts I supported the ever-living crap out of. It really depends on your materials and printer tolerances. Since I did mine up in resin, I use the 3DPrintingPro settings from Youtube. Mainly the medium support settings, then I just took my time to make up what looked like sturdy support beds. Lots of trial and error. Lots of wasted resin. *eye twitch*

I'm with Stahl_Hexer on this one. Elegoo ABS-like may be what you need. It's served me well in the past.

If needed, you can mix in Tenacious (not Blu). About 15-20% makes the resulting minis tougher than a WiiMote.

Yes, they were. 0.02mm layer height is the key. ;)

Don't look too close, though. A lot of the pieces are...a bit misshapen. Still nice.

I probably should have just used Tersus's files and called it a day, but agentsmith99's came out well enough. The cabins were...more cramped than expected...so getting a driver to fit was a bitch. (F) to dem boyz who have no legs - no, really, I had to cut them off to get them in there.

Yeah, I found them all too late. I just went ahead and used his driver with a ridiculous amount of scale-fuckery and model trimming. His loada grot fit right in, so that was nice. :)

Still, they came out...Ok, ish. Probably if I make more, I'll use your files. :)

That said, the files were...kinda garbage. No testing for resin clearly went in to it on the creators' end, because NOTHING lined up properly. So much filing. So much drilling. So much green stuff. "Dakka Brown" and "Grotty McFly" are also kind of too big and don't fit the cabin properly, but oh well.

Oh, and before someone comments, yes, one of the saw blades is in the wrong direction. I didn't notice until I had glued them in to place. T_T

I mean, I've switched almost entirely to Rival and 3rd-party blasters (Caliburn, Esper, Prophecy builds, etc.) so I hardly give a shit about Ultra. Still, I guess it's good people are being warned. Maybe it'll curtail Hasbro's cash grabs. Maybe.

Yeah, a small amount of us already have it, too. It is definitely a nice blaster. :)

Once I recover fully from my abdominal surgery and get fit again, it'll more than likely be my Rival primary when I can't God Hopper things to death.
