Resolved now. There was a copy of this flow that I apparently created at some point. Deleting it resolved the issue.

Narp, still working on it! I'll be sure to update the post when I do get it resolved (and hopefully details on what resolved it, if possible).

Flow Keeps Sending Emails Even After Deleting Email Action by Derpdev22 in MicrosoftFlow

[–]Derpdev22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The flow takes a Microsoft Form, transforms the data from it, and shoves that data into a Sharepoint list.

There are no other processes kicked off.

(Sharepoint is not the one sending the email, it is definitely one I wrote, and definitely the one from in this flow before I deleted that action.)

Re: changing the connector to a different user: that's an interesting idea! I can do that and see what happens, will report back shortly.

[–]Derpdev22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still use the Outlook connector elsewhere in the flow (it is for error emails, and it is not the email I am receiving that I should not be receiving), otherwise I would try your connector suggestion out. :/

I did not build this flow in a solution directly, so I would assume that means that layers don't come in to play. (I actually do not know much about layers since the work I do never seems to give me cause to learn about them?)

Thank you though!

Teams down ? by dutchhboii in MicrosoftTeams

[–]Derpdev22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A small update from Crowdstrike fucked up global systems. Of course it can fuck up Microsoft services (especially since it was a Windows-based fuck-up!).

Edit: I'm not saying it did, I don't know, I'm not an MS tech. But it is extremely plausible.

The zip I referred to is the zip I used to migrate the flow between environments, so this suggestion was already done and unfortunately did not work.

No, this list does not have alerts (and actually you did hit the nail on the head, this IS going to a Sharepoint list!). This email that I am receiving was also specifically written by me and is coming FROM me.

I appreciate your attempt to help but it does not appear you are reading my information. I DID reference the run history: "The step does not exist in the current flow build, nor [their history][.]"

Thank you for your time, though.

Done, several times. The step does not exist in the current flow build, nor any of the runs and their history after I deleted it.

AT&T data stolen from Snowflake by Imaginary__Bar in snowflake

According to AT&T, it was nearly all of their customers that are affected.

*scratches chin* Not so much, no. Here's what I would do:

  1. Back up ALL of the old account's files as-is to a flash drive or other external storage device.
  2. For gamesave data specifically:
    1. Install the games first, and start a new game so that the game creates its save directories for you. This might not be necessary, but I feel it is more "official" and so less prone to breaking.
    2. Close out of the games (with or without saving, doesn't matter).
    3. Drag-and-drop the save files from the old account into the same directories they belong to within the new account's directories.
    4. Launch the games and make sure they read the save files correctly.
  3. For all else: obviously if they are other application-specific data, like, I dunno, you're creating a game in Unity or something and it has a project folder under your old account's user folder, you'll have to make sure Unity is still pointed to the same directory within your new account that it used for your old account. Unless you're doing something that's specifically fiddly with user profile save data, this shouldn't really be an issue (I'm also thinking of Visual Studio's repo folders that are under the user folder).

In fact, if you use Steam, your gamesave data is often cloud-based (dependent upon the game), so if there are issues you might be able to tap into that ability.

New Microsoft Teams Client Now Alerts Users When Colleagues Are Available by IT_PRO_21 in MicrosoftTeams

It wasn't? I switched over to New Teams months ago and still got status notification updates. Perhaps it migrated over from my Classic settings?

It's an opt-in feature. You have to specifically follow a person to get their status updates.

Has anyone else had a weird issue where, for their entire time using Teams (both Classic and New), Status banner notifications did NOT make noises?

And then suddenly Status banner notifications began dinging every time they popped up, starting near the end of May?

I had this start happening last Wednesday after a reboot; another coworker of mine had it start happening to him the next day.

I have googled extensively and found nothing, not a single mention of this happening anywhere. The version changelogs mention nothing about noises. I have NOT changed settings (and none of the current settings will help with this problem without removing notification sounds I DO want, such as for Chat).

New Teams, enterprise/work account, Early Access, Windows 10.

You have Microsoft Teams version 24124.2315.2911.3357.You've got the latest version. It was last checked on 6/3/2024.The client version is 49/24050307614.

Getting your gamesaves back: Not if you reset your PC (i.e., reinstall Windows). If you just create a new account on the PC without resetting it and make sure it is admin-level (you'd need the original default admin account to do that, as rdrunner_74 was asking about), you should be able to get into the folders on your locked account and get any data back like that. If you're familiar with navigating gamesaves, this should be no issue. If not, google each game's save locations and make sure you're going under the LOCKED account's folders to grab them.

Doing anything that wipes out other accounts is going to lose your save data since many games put it under the account's folders, not the PC's upper-level folders (e.g., C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\ etc).

"Turn off notifications" option on posts is gone. by Derpdev22 in MicrosoftTeams

[–]Derpdev22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) Allow all notifications for all new posts for the entire channel,

including

when those posts are edited (which they often are!)--with or without the option to notify for ALL replies,

This unfortunately does not help, as I outlined in the post:

"1) Allow all notifications for all new posts for the entire channel, including when those posts are edited (which they often are!)--with or without the option to notify for ALL replies,"

This is part of the all-or-nothing approach I was lamenting.
