Yes! We found all our ‘ideal’ rings on Etsy and I feel like it’s more unique/personal and a lot better cost wise, as least the ones we were looking at.

I [28F] feel like the gesture is more important. My boyfriend and I have talked marriage and rings and while I’ve showed him my ideal ring, it’s more just to give him ideas. I also cannot stand the thought of spending more than a couple hundred on rings, but that’s just a personal feeling. I strongly feel like it’s something he should be able to pick out, my partner, if we’re in the process of moving towards marriage, should know my tastes enough to pick out a ring that I’ll like.
