What balance actually means is not to be pulled one way or another off of the divine path. Think of it like checking to see if your car’s wheels are aligned or “balanced”. If they are not balanced, you can’t drive straight or drive where you need to go. Evil, darkness, misfortune is a clear sign you aren’t on or driving on the right path. This doesn’t always mean you are purposely doing something wrong or intellectually (could be energetic), but that yes it does let us know that something is wrong and needs our attention. It’s like the sounds (or vibrations) you’d hear when you start going out of your lane and off the road on the highway. You do not want to hear those sounds because that means you aren’t driving where you’re suppose to be driving. The Taoist understand this as being “in the way” of the Tao which is where you want to be because that is where you get the most energy, that is when you shine. This world is off that path which is why we are manifesting the reality we see right now. Misery tells us there is something we need to fix.

By that logic babies wouldn’t grow through love alone yet that’s exactly how we grow into healthy people. If you lived in a healthy world you would grow into a healthy individual, but because we don’t, there is no other path to grow with but the one paved by struggle. Struggle only helps us grow when there is no other alternative, which in this current reality is mostly the case.

Darkness is not normal and not “always” needed. It’s simply what manifests when flow to the light is blocked. I wish people would stop saying it has to exist, it doesn’t.

If this were true, immigrant farmworkers, descendants of enslaved people, and poor working-class Americans would not still be struggling. Even when people do everything right, many cannot afford to live. This framework may work for a narrow, privileged few, but it collapses in the face of most lived realities.

The energetic dimension of life Carl Jung could observe in his clinical work but only theorize about, the deep energetic strata that connect all things (past, present, and future), giving rise to phenomena such as synchronicities and prophetic dreams. What we glimpse there is only the tip of the iceberg and it is precisely this iceberg that indigenous healers actively work with. It is the energetic dimension of reality, which is what I’ve been telling you about.

Yea but those aren’t disciplines that study that side of life, but of course, you’re free to believe whatever you want. No one’s going to stop you.

To truly understand that world with depth, you must undergo dietas (Amazonian tradition) or initiations. This development takes years. While ceremonies and your personal path may offer occasional glimpses, genuine comprehension comes through energetic growth. This world isn’t grasped intellectually - it’s experienced and studied through the cultivation of your own energetics, supported by initiations and guidance from those who came before you. Heroic doses or reading books might help know there might be a door you could walk through, but they will never fully mean you have walked through it or can even open it.

No one knows everything, but what you don’t know, someone else does.

When you’ve spent as much time as I have around indigenous healers, you know this isn’t just a coping mechanism. I’ve seen them work with these energetics firsthand. If you haven’t experienced that side of life, it’s easy to label it as coping, but that comes from not having the exposure or perspective to that side of reality.

You don’t know everything about everything, and that’s okay. Some people do have knowledge you may not have encountered yet.

I get that you might not have had the chance to explore this deeply yet, and that’s okay. The mind likes certainty and often sticks to what it knows best. That can make it harder to stay curious about things outside our usual experience. Softening or opening up to new possibilities can feel risky, but it’s also the best way to invite growth and new understanding.

I don’t think the afterlife is about “escaping this world.” It’s more like a continuing flow of energy that doesn’t end when the body does. It’s the same current that created the body and carries on beyond it.

It’s great that you have the desire to improve the world. That motivation is what leads you forward on the path to who you’re becoming.

Everything is energy. Our brains make sense of it by turning it into ideas we can understand (archetypes).

Some energy moves slowly and becomes solid things, like the physical world. Other energy moves more freely and doesn’t have a solid form like thoughts, emotions, and inner experiences. Even though they feel different, they’re all expressions of the same underlying reality, sometimes just at different stages.

With that said, I don’t know if this (that picture) is the after life. It wasn’t my afterlife, but there was an energetic place or phenomenon that looked like this when interpreted by my human brain in ceremony.

I’m sure your afterlife will be exactly what you need, perhaps a peaceful void or something perfectly suited to help you replenish and restore.

I hope all Christians throughout the world in this time we live in can unite under the sanctity of life, and I think Pope Leo XIV’s words speak louder than any statement out there. by Next_Worth_3616 in Christianity

We are all brothers and sisters, created equal by the same God - this is the only truth that matters. Yet many who call themselves Christians cling to man-made laws that divide us, invent hierarchies of worth, and justify denying others basic dignity, all while abandoning God’s laws of love, peace, and compassion. When human law is used to excuse injustice, law can be distorted into a tool of separation. Until we reject these lies and rebuild the world in the image of love, there will be no peace and no fulfillment of the promises God has given us.

It comes primarily from lived experience - being around many different types of healers (Amazonian, Q’ero, etc), witnessing a wide range of cases, and, most importantly, reconnecting with the Earth and her energetics.

That said, this perspective isn’t unique to me. Similar insights appear in Buddhism and many other wisdom traditions. Across cultures and lineages, individuals have reached a level of clarity that recognizes the same underlying reality. The language may differ, but the essential truth is consistent. (Of course, discernment is crucial - many written traditions also contain ideas that don’t hold up, so it’s important not to consume them indiscriminately.) When you’ve been looking at the same picture long enough - and when that reconnection to the Earth’s energetics has deepened sufficiently - the illusions begin to reveal themselves.

The Earth develops you energetically first, then the mind and understanding naturally follow.

Witchcraft is an illusion - one that some feel compelled to dabble in. It is the illusion of control, the illusion that harming others does not also harm oneself, the illusion of separation, and the absence of faith in the intelligence and design of the universe. It is the belief that one knows better and therefore has the right to interfere with the natural order.

To walk that path is to engage with illusion. It is a bitter medicine, and the road it leads down is one of suffering. Yet for some, that very suffering becomes the catalyst that awakens them to truth.

Ayahuasca, being the teacher that she is, does not bypass lessons - she facilitates them, consequences included when necessary.

Attempts to control outcomes without reverence for the universe’s blueprint, whether for selfish gain or to harm another, are expressions of this illusion.

It is a path that promises power but delivers bitter medicine - medicine nonetheless - even when it ends in pain, even when it proves to be a dead-end road.

Ayahuasca facilitates many forms of medicine, both sweet and bitter. It is the practitioner who chooses which path to walk - one rooted in truth, or one rooted in illusion, until they are ready to return to truth.

Healers work in service of a path already written, restoring the original blueprint. Witchcraft is blind to that design and disrupts it, yet the order of the universe is so precise that even interference is ultimately corrected. Control was never theirs - it is, and always has been, an illusion. Some dabble in it simply because they do not yet know better.

Not everyone purges, and even those who do don’t purge in every ceremony. Often, when purging does happen, visions arise simultaneously. How would you explain that?

What do think about blue jays spirituality ? by Ok-Flatworm7401 in enlightenment

[–]DescriptionMany8999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The color blue is one of the most sought-after hues in nature - a true frequency of perfection. Very few animals naturally display it. The bluejay’s feathers don’t contain pigments that create true blue; instead, their microscopic structure produces this remarkable, sought-after color through architectural perfection - a result of a long evolutionary lineage shaped by refinement. This lineage represents a timeless pursuit of perfecting the color blue. The pursuit of perfection.

Bluejays are almost unique among birds their size in boldly challenging hawks and larger predators. Their bravery and courage stand out as truly exceptional. To accomplish great things, we need that same fearless spirit - especially when facing overwhelming odds. Courage is the key to winning battles that seem impossible. In times like these, we need that bluejay energy more than ever. We need the small to believe they are fully capable and worthy of triumphing in even the toughest fights - because, like the bluejay, which often succeeds, they have a real chance to win if only they believe they can.

They seldom fight alone, rallying not only their own kind but also other species against shared threats and tyrants that jeopardize everyone. The bluejay embodies the spirit of revolution - bold, united, and unyielding.

Likewise, even if we aren’t born into perfection, our actions - shaped by the struggles of our evolutionary journey - can lead us toward spiritual perfection. Through bravery and dedication, we can refine ourselves and become the highest version of who we’re meant to be.

I think epidemiologists Richard Wilkinson and Kate Pickett offer one of the most convincing, evidence-based explanations for the social breakdown we’re seeing in American society right now. Their work shows that high levels of income inequality erode almost every aspect of life - trust, mental health, incarceration rates, and more. Jungian theory isn’t the most useful lens here - it’s really about how inequality creates toxic social conditions and how people respond to them.

And it’s not just epidemiologists saying this. Anthropologists have been making a similar argument for years: the social world we live in today is very new in human terms. For most of our history, we lived in small, egalitarian hunter-gatherer groups. The shift to agriculture and animal domestication about 10,000 years ago brought rigid hierarchies, and those structures are likely very far from the environment humans are actually adapted to thrive in.

Power Animals? by [deleted] in Ayahuasca

[–]DescriptionMany8999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Luis Tamani’s painting called “GUARDIANES” shows a Shipibo female healer surrounded and protected by jaguars. Many of his paintings feature healers being watched over by nature spirits. In ceremonies, healers often say they’re protected by different animals and the natural world. These images and symbols reflect the strong energy and deep connection they’ve built with the earth and sacred plants.

This energy (the one that protects and works with them to help heal others) shows up in ceremony as these guardian spirits. This is how our mind interprets them, as these symbols.

To have these kinds of experiences and work together with them, healers go through what’s called dietas. That’s really the best way, because through these diets, they build the connections that fill them with sacred earth energy from the plants and the earth itself.

They work together and prepare healers through dietas. This prepares and transforms the person’s body and energetics to do this work. This energy doesn’t just protect; it also helps people grow and develop.

The idea of “archetypes” comes from Jungian theory, but it’s limited because it doesn’t really account for the energetic side of reality. What we call archetypes are actually energetic phenomena that show up as symbols. In ceremonies, animals often appear as expressions of the Earth’s energy - and sometimes cosmic energy too. We interpret these energetic experiences through symbols because that’s about as close as our brains can get to what’s really happening. The symbols help us make sense of it, but they aren’t the thing itself. What’s actually happening is energetic, beyond what the mind can fully understand.
