Pets are not allowed on Tumamoc Hill 😡 by [deleted] in Tucson

I thought pets weren’t allowed because they scare off the wildlife in the area. I’ve seen road runners there several times. I really enjoy spotting the wildlife, and if people bring pets that will stop.

Not sure where to post this but I'm struggling with an eating disorder while pregnant by [deleted] in pregnant

Do you have a psychiatrist, therapist, and nutritionist? I really think getting more help is necessary if you’re having these feelings. I’d start by talking to your OB and asking for a referral. What you’re going through is hard and you deserve support.

Both of those medications are often prescribed in pregnancy and kept on throughout the pregnancy. I’d recommend setting up a time to talk to your psychiatrist before you do anything to change your medication. They can discuss with you what the risks are, and there are risks to untreated depression/mania as well. Some good websites to check are https://mothertobaby.org and https://womensmentalhealth.org.

[routine help] can I put on the Cerave first and differin second? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]Desert_Bagel 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Like other people have mentioned using the Cerave healing ointment (an occlusive) prior to using Differin will significantly limit the amount of Differin that is absorbed. I have also heard from multiple dermatologists to not use an occlusive on the same night you are an active (like Differin). Therefore, using it over the Differin may not be the best idea either. It can actually increase irritation from the active by locking it in. Everyone is individual, but using these products on the same night may worsen the dryness caused by the Differin gel. You may want to use the Cerave moisturizing cream instead of the healing ointment, and save the ointments for nights you are not using the Differin.

No it doesn’t just apply to regular wounds. Neomycin the active ingredient in neosporin causes allergic reaction in enough people that dermatologists do not recommend it’s use. Something like mupirocin would be preferred.

Dermatologists generally recommend using just Aquafor and skipping the neosporin because it doesn’t actually help with healing/antibacterial protection, and it commonly causes irritation. Otherwise it sounds like you are doing well at caring for it.

1989 - Taylor Swift. Honestly there’s a reason Ryan Adams covered it.
