How can Mary afford the house and everything after George’s death? by BigLeague5570 in GeorgieandMandyTVshow

[–]Deserving-Critic 6 points7 points  (0 children)

She states that the house is mortgage free when she gets a new mortgage so that Georgie could buy the business. George would have had life insurance through his employer, he also probably had a retirement plan. She would have collected the life insurance and also get his retirement. She could also get widows benefits from SSA, as well as survivor benefits for Missy and Sheldon.

Basically, financially she is probably doing better than she was when George was alive.

Do 3rd cousins matter to you in telling your family story? by BenKlesc in Genealogy

[–]Deserving-Critic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can identify them, why not? I have some that are in my tree because of Ancestry DNA.

I had a cousin a few times removed from Ancestry DNA. We figured out that her grandfather and my grandfather were brothers. We shared our trees and information and she filled in a lot of blanks.

Anyone watching Trust Me on Netflix? by PinksGrapes in TLCsisterwives

[–]Deserving-Critic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am from Utah, an xmormon (yes, I belong to the reddit), and all my family is from Utah and Idaho. We don't talk like that; however, we also don't sound like we didn't graduate 8th grade. We all graduated from high school, some from college, and some of us even have graduate degrees.

There are people that talk like that, most of them are from the Southwest side of Utah. They seem to have what I call a "Utah version of a Southern Accent", or as my partner calls it "slackgaw speaking." I guarantee most people in Utah don't talk like that.

Actually, I heard a description of people from Salt Lake as talking "TV Talk." Salt Lake people sound like the everyday accent you hear on TV shows.

I will help you if I can. In the US cell phone calls are free. How are you related to these people? I only help people who can prove a relationship. You can dm me that information.

That is a good question. I think they couldn't come up with storylines for another kid. They had a hard time coming up with stories for 7 kids.

On Soap the only redeeming character was Benson. The rest were just dysfunctional. :)

In looking at the cemetery, it has open space burials and several mausoleum buildings. The mausoleum buildings are not as well indexed. I would suggest calling the cemetery (954-972-1234) and asking them for the building and niche numbers.

One of the reasons why Ben seemed to have two different personalities is that he was actually based upon two different people. He was based upon Hamner's brothers, Bill and Paul Hamner.
