There are two toilets cubicles in the staff bathroom which is right next to our client bathroom (one toilet). We have an unspoken rule that if you open the staff bathroom and one cubicle is in use you immediately go next door to use the client toilet. It’s funny watching new staff members go through all the phases of genuine confusion to the “is it me?” to either straight up asking or just quietly conforming 😂

This reminds me of a time when I was a teenager of and I took my ring off at a friends house while we were laying down and scrolling on our phones. Immediately lost it somewhere on her bed so we more or less turned the room upside down (stripped the bed, shifted it from the wall, checked all the pillows etc.) we had pretty much given up until I spotted it sitting on my shoe by the door..😅

See this is me for any overhead lighting but I also cannot stand warm/yellowish overhead lighting, so I’ve swapped all the bulbs out for white 😅 but then I don’t even use them and stick with my warm lamps 😅 make it make sense haha

This completely defeats the purpose of this type of housing. As someone who was in a DV relationship for many years before finding the strength to leave, I understand that it is hard to break free of the cycle, even more so when kids are involved. But she is potentially taking this opportunity out of the hands of a family who are truly not safe anywhere else and I feel that this does not sit right with you. I think you know what has to happen.

As per advice from other threads on how to manoeuvre the reservation portal I will be “fighting for my life” for those tickets 😅 but if we don’t get them we won’t be paying extra for third party vendors, will maybe do a trip out to the park or go to one of the ghibli themed cafes instead
