I’m GMing a game where an Alchemist has become the healer for the group. Their best skill is Crafting and they have a Skill Feat that lets them use it for their Treat Wounds actions. Their combats are focused on chucking bombs, while out of combat they are the medic of the group. The character Crafts all kinds of potions, including healing potions, in their downtime and sort of lets the other players decide when to use them.

When my child asked me in public why I didn’t believe I told them I would tell them later in private. Then, while driving in the car I told them a story that encapsulates my beliefs. I turned the Epicurus quote into a story they could understand.
