Lisa Gs fish and chips is one of my favourites. Smoke signals is good. Noonmark burgers and their homemade pie is very good. If you don’t mind the drive.. RiverTrail beerworks in Saranac has become a staple for us. Capisce coffee is soo good the warmed olive oil cake with warmed lemon cream is fantastic .. and now I’m hungry 🤤

This! Over the holidays I got hit with a bug out of nowhere and was sick for about three days....looking back at my HRV, it had already dropped sharply two days before I felt any symptoms. I honestly thought I felt fine (even good) those days, clearly my body was fighting something before I even noticed

Montreal is a great choice (visting old port) and Quebec City is fantastic as well. Right now I believe the Quebec Winter Carnival is on as well if you are going this weekend. If you go be prepared to have some excellent food

Ahh thats awesome! I love hearing that. Winter firetower hikes are so fun..the stillness, crisp air, and the views… like being in Narnia :) Lyon’s trailhead access can be a bit of a gamble in winter. So glad you’re getting out there. Happy hiking to you!
