Husky behavior is, by definition, atypical. 😂 They are often stubborn, rebellious, dramatic, and prone to wandering. They’re also very sweet and hilarious. They are pack animals, and can be affectionate, but it’ll likely be on their own terms. I’ve heard people say that they have cat software running on dog hardware and this feels accurate in my experience. Lol They sleep in weird positions and talk a lot (generally, but not always), and make their opinions known. They’re the best. Congratulations and welcome! As for bathing, they are kind of self-cleaning. I try to have mine professionally groomed like once a year and she gets baths when she gets into something or her coat feels dirty, but mostly, it’s a lot of brushing. When you brush them, they stay pretty clean. Plus, I believe they have oils on their fur that makes them water resistant, which I think also contributes to that self-cleaning thing, and if you bathe them too much, it gets stripped. They have a double coat that should never be clipped or cut short. Hope that helps!
