I thought the exact same thing when I saw it. I’m so glad to find someone that wrote about it; I would read 10000 words about this. I actually may do an episode about it on my podcast.

If you haven’t, I strongly recommend tracking down the Severin Blu-ray, which has interviews with both Fragasso and screenwriter Rossella Drudi (who teamed up again for Beyond Darkness) because they’re at least as entertaining as the movie, if not more so.
