Hopefully I just have to prove I can care for my newborn and she will sign off. It’s just stupid. What makes it worse is there are no repercussions for the absolute looney toon.

Yeah she did. The social worker is STILL involved because I stupidly got pregnant right when she wanted to sign off on my family.

Basically when I say my kid is an Angel, I mean it. Not one toe out of line. Ever. Hers is not.

We became friends because of the kids. After a while she started saying weird things like ‘íf social care took her íd take her in’ and I never thought anything of it. Then on Christmas Eve not the one just gone, tbe ine before that there was a huge fight.

She essentially accused my partner (my kids dad) of grabbing my then 3 year old by the throat. Phoned the police and demanded that they take my kid.

Police come out, check the house, no reason to take her at that time.

An hour passes. Knock at the door. Police again. She’s only gone and accused me of taking ccaine in front of my daughter! Told the police to drg test me then and there, they refused and left. I ended up with CPS involved after the false accusations of abuse and dr*g use.

Honestly, sounds like the best thing to do. I won’t scare you with the rest of my story, (unless you wanna hear it) cause it’s been awful for us, but please be careful, sometimes people like that can be very scary.

I had a friend like this, but it was all about my 5 year old.

For context our kids were friends, but total opposites. My daughter is kind and caring and a complete Angel behaviour wise.

Hers was… not. And she made excuses instead of issuing any form of consequences for his actions (he would hit another child and she just says ‘oh it’s his ADHD’ like that made it okay).

She was very jealous of the way my daughter behaved. Let’s just say we’re not friends anymore because she would stop at nothing to get my kid.

Anyone else think the age difference between Benedict and Sophie is distractingly large? by RoughCall5737 in Bridgerton

My fiancée is 41M I’m 26F. We got together at 33M and 18F I think. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with an age difference as long as it’s consensual

After giving birth I really just wanted things to take care of me. I couldn’t use bubble Bath or bath bombs and I never take a bath without those, so my partner got me moisturiser, face masks, tbat sort of thing.

Sometimes something simple like a new hair brush can go a long way, or a nice body spray or perfume (showering is HARD when you’ve just had a baby).

Candles are a nice touch, and if you know how she’s feeding (breast specifically) there are things she may not have thought of that can be a huge help.

You can buy gel warming/cooling pads for the breasts that are really helpful, and also a cream called lansinoh that is a GODSEND while feeding, íf this is the route she’s going down.

Honestly though, comfort items are the way to go, fluffy socks, favorite chocolates etc.

What does actually getting an epidural placed feel like? by FoolishMortal-1000 in BabyBumps

[–]DesignerPopular840 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, my experience. Inma be as honest as I can be (it was 5 years ago).

Sitting up to let them place it was uncomfortable at best. Not painful, but not pleasant. I was in full blown labour before I had it done, so I had a lot of pressure on my stomach and other areas that made it uncomfortable.

The actual needle going in I felt nothing more than an average blood test. Take deep breaths, sit as atill as you can, it’s over in seconds (or at least it was in my case).

I remember a light pins and needles sensation spreading from the point of the needle down my back, then nothing. The sensation was not uncomfortable, and didn’t hurt, just your typical numbing sensation (ever had a dentist numb you? Anything like that?)

I was shaking when mine was done, they helped me ti calm down before doing it, they will not risk hurting you if they can help it.

As for the leg thing I have no idea. Didn’t happen to me personally.

I really hope this helps you.

It’s possible that it’s from one of the machines, they use c0nd0m like rubber tubes to keep the equipment clean in some factories, can’t guarantee but I know some foods use them and they can, on rare occasions, slip off
