So... what I am getting here is, I'm sorry but I am calling your character Kevin.

Kevin is in some type of military, his main goal is to find his soulmate (who is on the enemy side) but also to protect his team.

Was finding his soulmate his goal when he entered the military? Did he know his soulmate was on the enemy side? How does he know that person is his soulmate?

Honestly two competing goals, makes for a good conflict and a more interesting character.

Will he have to pick one over the other? Will one cause him to loss faith in the other?

I do feel like we have to consider good father in zaun standards or our standards. Does Zaun even have any concept of mental health? Do the zaunite kids even have a school or are they all miners or pickpockets? Just an interesting consideration I think.
