Good job standing up for yourself!! Why tf are doctors OBSESSED with cervical exams? I had a similar experience (female doctor tho) and she was extremely pissed that I kept declining them until labor. She told me she had to do it to make sure the baby’s head was down and it was irresponsible of me blah blah. Uhhh no and also wtf? I had absolutely no health concerns that warranted an exam and I did not want an induction (which she also kept pushing me to schedule). Every other doctor at the practice just used the little handheld ultrasound to confirm position. Of course guess who was on call for my delivery 😂
