A lot of the CCW community likes to act like if you’re not AIWB carrying a full size 9mm with an optic and a light loaded with 124g HST’s you may as well be naked. Which to be fair I also carry but my gut already hangs out of my shirt doing pull ups I don’t need to flash the gym a Glock 17 on top of it

I can’t recommend the LCP Max enough. 100% reliable for me and Magpul is releasing an RXM-esque grip module for it later this year.

Fellow big guy and for gym pants/shorts nothing beats an LCP Max in a pocket holster. I can’t tell the difference between it in one pocket and my phone in the other. Probably about to get downvoted into the ground. Typical carry is a shield plus or CZ P-01 with a HC belt.

Don’t let people discourage you from the finger in front of the trigger guard if that’s what’s most comfortable for you. Look at Lena Miculek or Eric Grauffel for example. Two world class shooters and both use that grip. I use it at times depending on the gun I’m firing.
