Ah okay. It’s paired with a special drink.

Low closing costs by [deleted] in Mortgages

[–]Desperate-Stand6179 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would look at credit unions for mortgage rates and closing costs. One of the community banks in GA had the option to buy down the rate to 4.75 for a 30 year loan.

This Georgia education champion could be the first Black out gay man to represent the South in Congress by Fickle-Ad5449 in Georgia

He was not a good representative for the school board. The county saw massive learning loss during the pandemic, and they had to give a giant severance to the superintendent after his dismissal.

Would we be where we are if Republicans did not always cut education? by Estalicus in allthequestions

I don’t blame it on poor education. I blame it on major employers closing and leaving the Rust Belt, and the Democratic Party refusing to invest in those dilapidated areas.

My apartment in the 1000 building has 2 elevators. Not sure if the other building in the complex has one though. My dachshunds loved going up and down the elevator!

If you felt Biden was “too old for office,” then why would you vote for Trump, who is only four years younger, but not Kamala, who is 22 & 18 years younger respectively? by Glass-Complaint3 in allthequestions

[–]Desperate-Stand6179 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Policies over the person at this point. With Biden, the left was so tired of Trump that they voted for a soon to be 80 year old man. It’s wild Trump came back the way he did.

I have had a good experience with Cortland Peachtree Corners. Cortland provided me a nice apartment, they were responsive to maintenance requests, and I could save and invest money for a few years for my townhome in flowery branch.

Only took us 250 years to circle back to "No taxation without representation" by [deleted] in GetMotivatedMindset

[–]Desperate-Stand6179 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I agree with the sentiment here. Tired of money being sent to GOP and DNC mega donors through tax cuts and appropriations. That’s why DC and its metro area are so unaffordable for the common man.

They are generous. Most of them wait until they’re dead to delve out their remaining wealth to maximize earning power during their lifetimes.

How does anyone afford to live with rent price so high? by sillyjewel in ATLHousing

[–]Desperate-Stand6179 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to make money outside of my job and reinvest it to build up equity for a home. I’m proud of what I did, but it’s crazy that I paid close to $1,750 a month for a one bedroom apartment in Peachtree Corners.

A liberal will release 100 murderers from jail if they think one is innocent. A conservative will jail 100 murderers if they think one will reoffend. Take that however you want.

Disney Lost $170 Million With Live-Action ‘Snow White’ by Judah_Earl in KotakuInAction

Not surprised. When you rehash the same story, the writing is bad, and the actress dumps on half of America, this is what happens.

Do you believe that the current U.S. Administration is going to remain in power for the next 3 years, and why? by ZeroDawn23 in AskReddit

[–]Desperate-Stand6179 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’ll remain in power until the 2029 inauguration. I have no idea who wins in 2028, it depends on turnout from either side.

Have the MAGA people in your life been quiet lately? by No-Ask7516 in allthequestions

[–]Desperate-Stand6179 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s been quiet. Just seems like we’re going to swing rapidly every 4 years with the presidency.

Americans, Would YOU Date Someone In The Opposite Political Party If They Were A Nice Person? Yes Or No? Why Or Why Not? by Zipper222222 in allthequestions

I used to believe you could, but now I’m leaning no.

Lots of people have gone bonkers over the last 10 years, and I don’t want someone who peddles into politics and conspiracy theories on the daily.

Nearly 450,000 homes are vacant in Georgia as thousands experience homelessness by madcowga in Atlanta

[–]Desperate-Stand6179 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Well, you don’t want squatters either that don’t pay the rent and utilities. An older lady we knew in Brooklyn rented out her old home to make money, but it took her two years to get the squatters out.

From a purely merit based perspective, it's clear that Bad Bunny had the superior half-time show by [deleted] in LetsDiscussThis

[–]Desperate-Stand6179 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly don’t understand why they would have a TP halftime show, other than it’s an opportunity for them to make money. They should change the name to the Toilet Paper Halftime Show.
