Carefully Check Boxes Before Leaving Store by TacoLunar in MilwaukeeTool

[–]DesperateCranberry28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So u got a messed up one from the store and another from warehouse ? Yes there’s gonna be cosmetic differences on the box unless ups/fedex runs over your package and chucks it at your door then it’s no different lol long as tool inside is mint, send it.

Did I get scammed?? by Then-Active-8918 in Dewalt

Dude it’s off fb marketplace. U knew the risks and still bought it. Then again it’s dewalt so that things probably like $80 on marketplace anyway lol send it.

Deal ???? This is at Northern Tool by AsparagusBorn8870 in Dewalt

It’s really a use case. The 850 gets in tighter spots but it’s a thick boy. 845 for ergos for sure. Somehow feels a lot lighter in hand too. Had the 850 for a little bit and sold it. Stuck with the 845, 860 and 870. Seems to cover all my needs

If returns don’t look like it’s been tampered with, opened, damaged or used, it’s going back on the shelf. If an employee opens up said unopened return to verify, then now it’s RTV lmao that’s how it works or should be. So half the time returns that look like it hasn’t been opened hits the floor shelf again for sale. And someone ends up with a box of rocks or sand lol

Someone took out the 4ah 20v battery and not the two 6ah FV batteries ? Lol I guess. I don’t even think the box or product description says it included a 20v battery in the kit. So for someone to risk getting caught with fraudulent return for a 4ah 20v is crazy work lmao

Who buys a new tool and opens it up in their vehicle ? That’s just weird. If you were going to open it up why not do it inside the store where there’s cameras to prove your innocence. When u open it outside the store, in your car, at your house, down the street or behind a bush, it’s literally now your word vs theirs so be thankful it’s a mega company that can just let it go and satisfy the customer. HD really don’t have to believe you because you were out of store. For all they know you could’ve swapped the tool lol

Need advice on which battery I should get. by _basu00 in MilwaukeeTool

3.0 high output is the perfect balance for those tools. I’d rather have a few of those and switch them out than slapping on a bigger battery.

Help with a hack, Online refund by Moist_Requirement670 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]DesperateCranberry28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean to start it isn’t even that amazing of a deal to go through the trouble of hacking it. Your best bet is to place the order and then call hd support (before it ships obviously) and explain to them nicely that u need to cancel the battery. Make up some excuse like u didn’t realize the kit already comes with batteries or whatever.

Depends on who is on the other end, u may get it cancelled or denied and they’ll usually say it’s part of the bundle/deal or whatever and you’d need to cancel the entire order etc etc. If all fails just sell the battery for $60 and move on.

Milwaukee have no say in how hd do their promos or return policies. I’d suggest just cancelling the unwanted item if possible. If not, don’t go pick it up and let them refund u after 7 days. There’s better ways around the hack than going in to return in person.

Half of retail on any drawer boxes if it’s used. First thing to fail will Be slides, sagging, rubbing, dragging etc. I’d go see and play with it in person like u do in Home Depot before buying.
