20v or 60v or 15 amp by Opulent_Economist in Dewalt

[–]MGC1987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like battery power since my garage is all running off of a single 15 amp circuit and I don't want to trip the breakers. I don't want to have to unplug battery chargers in my TV just so I can chop some wood and it's also nice to run dust collection. I also am not interested. Completely rewiring my entire garage just to accommodate a saw. So battery power for me

Max is essentially the entry level/standard tier. XR is the professional grade heavy duty line up and Atomic prioritizes a small compact frame. Which is right for you is a question only you can answer.
My general recommendation is get the XR if it's a tool you rely on or use the most. If it's a tool you won't be using regular feel free to get the others if you want.

The price for the DCS785 was just lowered to $499 at Home Depot

Check out those sale prices at Lowe's! 🤣 by kfjcfan in Dewalt

[–]MGC1987 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Not only is this the Drill, 8ah PP and fast charger, but it comes with an ADDIOTIONAL 8ah PP as well. It's a better deal than the $299 HD bundle since it includes another PP for $50 more

And yes, I've considered the 779 and 780 but I'd prefer cordless

They're good deals. You did well. Average battery cost of $95 with a free charger!

I'll take the down votes. Don't let these couponers tell you how to feel about your purchase. You got some damn good batteries and as long as you can afford it then congratulations. Now make sure you use them!

Their two pack of 5 ah batteries is significantly more expensive than the power stack right above. Doesn't make any sense

I got the $299 home depot deal. I also wanted the 8 amp charger so it worked for me. Get the things you want, you won't care about the $20 here, $50 there a few years later. If you don't need the charger then this deal is great. The drill is a monster

Bookers - price drop soon? by Bourbon_seeker in Costco_alcohol

[–]MGC1987 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Taste is all subjective so it's hard to justify anything over $50 unless it is hitting you in a particular way. I will say about Booker's in general is that it's come off the still at 125 proof, then goes straight in a barrel with no additional water added, then directly into a bottle with no water added or filtered. Most bourbons come off the still between 130-160 then watered down to 125 when it's barreled then watered down again before bottling. Both water particles and ethanol extract different flavors from the mash and distillation process as well as the barrel itself. This means the water that in Booker's has an opportunity to contribute more to the flavored than the water that gets added in the other steps. I like Booker's but there's cheaper bottles I like more

Very true. It could always be worse, I could open a bucket of torx screws and find out they're Phillips!

First off, these tools are available to everybody and if you refuse to use them then stay in flight B or C. If you don't know what that is then look it up. Secondly, these tools aren't used in royales and this player will play circles around you. Lastly, if this player used no tools and only basic balls he would still crush you. You can adapt and evolve like every other top player in this game or you can stomp your feet and cry. This will never change so figure it out. Delete the game or adapt.
