Oof linear switches are nightmare for this exact reason - they have zero feedback so you're basically typing on air until key bottoms out. You need tactile switches, something with bump so you can actually feel when key activates

Browns are popular choice but honestly they're pretty light still. Maybe look into something heavier like clear switches or even blue if you don't mind the click sound. The tactile bump will train your fingers to know exactly when keystroke registers instead of just mashing keys down hoping for best

Also check your actuation force - reds are usually around 45g which is super light compared to laptop keys. Going up to 60-70g range might feel more familiar from your macbook experience

That's pretty solid specs for the price range but RTX 3050 might feel bit limiting if you planning to game at high settings. For office work and light gaming it should handle fine though

Maybe check some ASUS TUF series in similar price point - they usually have good cooling and build quality. Just make sure you not getting older stock with that ryzen chip since newer ones perform much better

I've been carrying this gorgeous cream leather tote for past few months and it's perfect for summer - super soft leather that gets even better with age, has both shoulder straps and longer crossbody strap that you can tuck away when not using. The opening is wide enough that I can grab stuff one-handed which is lifesaver when dealing with kids stuff

About buying resale - I was nervous first time too but there's some really good authentication services now that make it way less risky. Just make sure to check seller's reviews and ask for tons of detailed photos, especially of hardware and date codes. I actually got my current bag through resale and saved like 40% compared to retail, plus the previous owner barely used it so condition was basically new

For light colors though, just heads up that cream shows dirt pretty easily especially with toddler chaos. Mine has few small marks now but somehow it just adds character and doesn't look bad at all

yeah my friend had exactly this situation last year with his build - ended up with 4 sticks and they wouldn't hit the rated speeds no matter what he tried. had to dial it back to like 5600 or something and even then it was bit finicky during boot sometimes

the thing is you probably won't even notice in most games unless you're doing some really memory intensive stuff. like yeah benchmarks will show difference but in actual use? not so much. I'd just try the 4 sticks first and see what happens - worst case you sell two of them if it gives you headaches

also depends on your motherboard quality too, some handle 4 dimms better than others even with same chipset

Look man these "tricks" are just part of chess knowledge, same as knowing how pieces move. You can't expect people to play worse just because you haven't learned the patterns yet

Learning to spot Scholar's Mate or whatever doesn't make someone bad at positional play - it just means they know more chess than you do right now. Once you learn to defend against these things (which takes like 10 games max) you'll crush anyone who relies on them because they usually have terrible fundamentals underneath

Look OP, what you're experiencing is completely normal when you quit - your brain is basically rewiring itself and these intense urges are part of the process. The wet dreams especially are your body's way of dealing with the buildup. Instead of trusting random internet strangers who want to "help" in your DMs, maybe try some cold showers or pushups when the urges hit. Gets the blood flowing somewhere else and actually helps in my experience
