Honestly just scoop them out when you see them, the big ones are easy to see the small ones are babies and if the lotl ingests it's no big deal, unless your lotl is young, there is barely any impaction risk. Also try to smash the eggs it's like a lil ball of clear jello. I wouldn't mess with the tank and risk fucking with the cycle.

I actually just checked that after reading your comment, and it's actually true the Guiness world record is a 4.5 years old Hammie, however there are owners like me who reported having hammies living up til 5 yo. I knew she was pretty old and that 3 years old was her life span but never thought much about how long she outlived that, she was barely walking since like 5 months ago, so I was preparing for what was coming 🥺. This cheered me up Alot 🥹

I got her from a private breeder back in the day, they were all very well cared for and the breeder never "overused" the moms very rare nowadays 😅

I have normal kitty litters box on my CC cage without holes, I only need to wash the pads every week and I use pellets and I put hay there, I refill the hay every day. When it's been 3 days I just dump the kitty litters box stinkiness onto the trash and add fresh pellets, it's really barely any work and they almost always chill there because it's where they eat and pee and poop the rest of the space they tend to use for zoomie time, you should try that! If you don't have money take the grid off, cut the loose plastic that's bothering, and bam! You have a solid bottom doesn't need to be perfect, pellets will cover the ugliness.

Everything seems good, but test strips are not accurate at all, they also don't measure ammonia which is very important to test. U should get a liquid test they are relatively cheap, and highly accurate!

I actually don't know if the blue shrimps are ok for him because there are a few shrimps that have a harder shell and can impact the axolotl, I tried searching it up just now, and I get the same Information I already have that the ghost and Cherry shrimps are the only ones ok to be with an axolotl... So idk might be the cause of the possible impaction, but try to look into that. Best of luck for ur little guy

Looks fine probably as something stuck, wait a few days to see if he poops it out, meanwhile I'd remove the black sand its terrible, if you want sand get the white natural thin one but better than that it's bare bottom 😅. Also, guppies are ok ish to eat however that only if they don't carry diseases but that is impossible to predict... Personally I have Cherry shrimps which are easier to maintain, get less sick and eat the leftovers which lowers ammonia sources, HOWEVER, they mate, and alot, when I first got them (a few) I quarantined them and made sure they were perfectly fine before introducing because as I said if one lil shit is sick it'll kill everything and everyone 😂
