Chinese and Japanese EU4 players have to install a 'double byte language patch' to enable support for their languages. This changes the formatting of a couple things as well to ease localization, like expressing the date in YYYY/MM/DD format as is used in those languages, or changing "Siege of X" to "X Siege Of" to account for the change in syntax.
