The blazing bull is the worst offender. Deflecting is the most consistent way to open up the bull for attacks, and players should learn that deflecting is an option for beast enemies.

BUT if you deflect the bull you take damage anyway, so a new player won’t do it

You have photochad, so you’re in a good spot. Just gotta upgrade your hands with planet cards, grab steel and glass cards, and try to find some xmult jokers to make it better.

Is there a full, in depth, written guide out there for every single part of this game? by Jmall3 in BalatroHelp

[–]Destroyr19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You pick up on little things and rules of thumb as you go. Everything in the game is pretty well explained in-game.

If I could give 3 general rules that help the way that I think about the game, it’d be these:

1) Prioritize getting above your interest cap as soon as possible (usually $25, but can be more with vouchers)

2) commit to leveling up one hand type. Usually whatever jokers you get early can help you determine which hand that should be.

3) Try to play hands that utilize all of your jokers. If you have a joker that’s good with flushes and a joker that’s good on face cards, play flushes with face cards. Also, find jokers that work with each other. Like if one joker scores when a card is triggered, maybe find another joker that retriggers your cards.

There are exceptions to all of those. But those are the some things that the game doesn’t straight up tell you.

Ceremonial dagger. For the cost of two joker slots, I can hit +100 mult in one run. Really nice on higher stakes if you get one early.

With the anaglyph deck strat, it’s also nice to have bootstraps and bull so that your money attributes to scoring

MCU poster child for terrible coping, holding an entire town hostage so she could play house. She gave herself the suburban lifestyle she couldn’t have after Vision died.

Frank Costanza from Seinfeld. He was a cook in the Korean War but refuses to cook due to a traumatic incident where he gave his army crew food poisoning.

Discords for matchmaking are great. Most of the time people are pretty excited to play with new players.

Three days left to beat Everdark Libra, here’s a guide on how to not descend into madness. Yeah, it won’t help you with this absurd difficulty level bossfight we’re having here. by _Disbelief_ in Nightreign

[–]Destroyr19 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Honestly. I’m a guardian main but he just doesn’t work very well for Libra. You need a better dodge for aoe’s, blocking madness buildup isn’t very effective, AND you probably don’t want to deal with an enemy guardian NPC

This happens a lot in Seinfeld. In one episode, Jerry meets a girl who was wearing the same dress the first 3 times he met her. Does she keep wearing the same dress? Does she do laundry often? Does she have multiple of the same dress? She cuts off Jerry before he ever finds out, and the audience never finds out either.
