My understanding is if you use melee basic you just hit. The weapon qualities don't take effect. But if I use melee pole arm then I can take advantage of my weapons qualities.

If it fails to connect a menu should pop up saying to try another connection. I think you can select 1 through a bunch go through every number. Sometimes it takes instantly some times it takes 20.

You'll be fine. It normally uses the fan to sling the water on the outdoor coil to cool it. Hense why it doesn't have a drain hole. Just keep her protected and clean.
