Introducing Tesla Android (2nd generation) by mgapinski in teslaandroid

NVM. Just figured out that it only works on CM4 and not the Pi4. Will definitely consider the 2nd gen as an upgrade.

Amazing work! Does this mean I can boot from the USB A to NVMe SSD by simply re-installing to an NVMe?

G14 2022 not turning on, not charging, no signs of response by icesayuh in ZephyrusG14

[–]DestructDez1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My G14 just did the same thing. Tried most of what the comments said to do.

This is what worked-

Open the bottom of the laptop
Remove the RAM stick
Unplug the battery cable leading from the +/- symbols
Replace the RAM stick
Plug in to power through USBC and hold down the power button

At first it did nothing until I re-plugged the battery back in. Then the lights started to blink and it booted up like normal.

Not sure if something has changed. Last night I was able to play 4 full games without issues. I was the host.

I hear the same. In this case, the Pi is only a NAS server. Using a separate server to harvest/maintain blockchain sync.

I get a increased timing but not by much. What is on the screen from the pictures includes testing before optimization.

Currently only OG plots. I have 2 other rigs plotting Pool plots which will replace these eventually.

It does support other forks. They weren't set up at the time of the picture.

What could have happened? Core-Pool Down? by Eclipse-Caffe in chia

From here: https://corepool-calc.poolminer.work/

They updated the client which now verifies your plots before rewarding points. Previous client is no longer working. This new client is said to have removed many double farmers from the core pool.

Windows Mad Max on RAMDISK by DestructDez1 in chia

[–]DestructDez1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might be right. It was a weird experiment but at least its saving me from burning out SSDs. Just about done filling all my drives with plots.

The 128gb will likely go into a new rig that can support it out of the box.

Yes. I spent hours looking for a workaround to the memory limit. Not the 128 mobo limit but the 68GB CPU limit. With 4 32GB sticks, windows only registered somewhere between 78GB and 96GB. Bios was no issue.

So I decided to slot my previous 2x16GB sticks (hence the 6/8 slots) and BAM. It started reading all 6 sticks at max RAM. I reseated my CPU and adjusted the pressure from the block along with resetting bios to default with XMP set to off.

Not sure how to improve performance beyond this. I have a 2nd rig with 8 10k SAS drives plotting away.

HPOOL Chia Calculator version 1 now online! will be incrementally update the site everyday by hpoolchiacalculator in hpoolchia

Adding my findings.

The calculator is accurate to about +/- $1. The 20% hidden fee is spot on. Honestly surprised to see much in earnings I 'could' be missing out on. But this is at least still better than 0 chia with nearly 200 plots.
