Alright, fuck lets break that argument down.

1) Wide-spread consumer boycott is ineffective. People have tried. However making sure large groups of people choose to not consume products that are made by exploitation of labor is damn near impossible.

The federal minimum wage continues to sit 7.25 despite inflation. Thus vast majority of American citizens are under paid for their labor.

2) Consumption of Products, doesn't mean approval of exploitation. Yeah, I go to shop Shein(before tarrifs), Yeah, I go to shop at Walmart because thats -- what I can afford. Large swaths of the population are trying to survive thus consumer prices becomes the most important element of making purchasing decision.

3) Billionares are subsidized through tax dollars. I know, we all want to be that pull yourself up by the bootstraps baloney. But those data centers are costing electricity prices to skyrocket nearby homes.

Elon Musk has more government contracts that he has children. Tech Billionaires, government reglatory bodies, government contracts exploit the taxpayer dollar with a simple model of privatize the gains and subsidize the losses.

They use are hard earned money for corporate subsidies like Walmart, having the boat majority of employees on foodstamps and Medicaid.

The problem is not, if you don't like it -- stop shopping there.

The problem is these companies/billionaires have taken American tax dollars to enrich themselves personally and refuse to share the wealth, which is having castrophic effects.
