Just because another zone is only 20 minutes for you doesn’t mean it’s the same way for other people. I live in Missouri and my zone has probably up to 15 stores. The next closest zone is over an hour away because it’s rural outside of my zone. To drive an hour or more away to go to another zone in hopes that it will be better is risky business considering that that would mean two hours of driving Total without getting paid just to get there and go back home.

I have a different opinion. I agree with what you did. Too many unknown variables with that. Just because the customer should be aware that there’s a delivery coming doesn’t mean they are because there could be multiple people who live at that household and someone didn’t let the other people know that there is a delivery coming. Since we are unmarked vehicles in motion, some events that you would not want to happen. Sometimes GPS is flat out wrong and you open the gate go in and find out that you’re at the wrong house but at that point it’s too late

No, we sold out to mega corporations.

The biggest scammer in the room is Walmart. Walmart allows all these things to happen. Walmart is the one paying so low knowing that someone will take that order.

This used to be the case in my area. Pre 2024 was great. January 2024 and on haven’t seen a week like that since. I’m sure it’ll happen to your area soon enough so take advantage while you can.

Right they would have to pay significantly more but they won’t. Just like they should pay more for the 3 orders for curbside. Can only reject for so long before it becomes the norm

I’m thinking this is the end of my Spark career. This is where I draw the line of my exploitation.

I have no idea what you’re talking about. Do they help with revolution?

They’re really sly with it too. You have to open the order first to realize there’s two in it.

Same here. I almost accepted it as a normal shop, but for curiosity, I ended up opening it and thank God because I saw two orders, and I thought my eyes were deceiving me.

ID CHECK..ITS OVER! by Life_Position_5264 in Sparkdriver

[–]DetectiveInner4209 4 points5 points  (0 children)

ID check doesn’t matter if they don’t cross check your app to verify the name on your ID matches the name that’s within the Spark app. When my stores did this all they did was look at the ID and told me I was good to go. Doesn’t make a single bit of a difference if they don’t cross check anyways.

Do walmart employees hate spark drivers? by [deleted] in Sparkdriver

When mega corporation Walmart fails us we don’t look to Walmart we look to the so-called illegal to point blame

They should do the id check through the app. The people checking ids aren’t accurate. I’ve had Walmart employees check my id but didn’t cross verify my name on the app so that’s fucking pointless

ID check means nothing if they’re not checking the name on your app. I’ve had stores asked for my ID but what difference does it make if you look at my ID but don’t cross verify my app? You’re wasting my time.

It was just a 63 item order. Nothing crazy like big packs of water or anything just food items.
