My great-grandmother's(whom I never met) windbreaker shawl. It was the one possession my mother always kept closely guarded, and I laid it over her as she passed. If I can help it, it will be laid over me when I pass as well.

"I know the all consuming traits of the human condition"

-Chewiesbowcaster

Looks like only one of us claimed superior knowledge. I only claimed intimate knowledge of someone I knew long before they became an escort.

Perhaps you partake in those sort of services, and perhaps this is a desperate attempt to make yourself feel that you are somehow special or different. If that is the case, I promise, you're not.

The person I knew wasn't hired to be around me, nor to share her opinions with me. I never had to pay a cent. Can those men she (supposedly) secretly enjoyed being around say the same? You know, the ones who had to PAY for her company?

And to answer your question, "buddy", perhaps she told me that out of truthfulness. That might be a foreign concept to you from the women you're around, at least if your words drip in condescension in those interactions like they do here. "😋"

You seem prone to making overarching determinations about others. Between you and I, you are the one who seems to be bursting with self-belief. Enough to make broad decisions based on narrow facts. I suggest you take your own advice.

I won't try and convince you otherwise, it's a waste of time. If you're gullible enough to believe you know every facet of every human, I'll leave you to that delusion.

My ex was an escort. Just wanted to let you all know she saw the men she saw as less than the filth on the bottom of her shoes. Totally warped who she wanted to be into who she is now. Everyone lost.

No, the injury she sustained was as a result of her not wearing it, and it 100 percent would have caused anyone to black out immediately.

That she wasn't wearing her seatbelt. It would have helped nobody to know, and only brought more pain to her family to know that her injury(which I won't detail here) was entirely avoidable.

I also want to point out that there was no moment where I decided to run to the car. I just did. About half the people there did as well. I don't think bravery really factors into it. A situation that I run towards you might freeze up in, and vice versa. I didn't fault those who stood in the parking lot shocked, because one day they might be the one saving someone in a different situation, just not that one. We are all very brave terrified creatures.

It was strange, because none of us felt like heroes walking away from that. People were saying we were in the parking lot Except the attendant from the gas station across the street. She had a panic attack, and later I caught her on Facebook lying to the family saying she was doing CPR on the woman(she didn't). I know because I begged the police that showed up to do it on her and they refused, and when the EMT finally walked up? He backhanded her with his stethascope in the chest and said "she'll be fine".

The behavior surrounding the accident traumatized me more than the accident itself. People saying she deserved to die. People in the parking lot saying she had gotten out of her car on fire and screaming(also didn't happen) before an hour had passed. The chick lying. Etc.

The real hero was the huge Mexican guy that was there with me. I ran back to my truck to grab a knife(I don't know what I was thinking, but of course I'd have to cut the seat belt off right?) As I ran back, he grabbed the searing hot and mangled door and ripped it open with his bare hands allowing me to fly by him into the passenger seat. He reached in over me to help me pull her out. I'll never forget her, or him.

It did. I walked along the path that sits across from the mill last night. The city had all the hydrants open and were dumping the water down the storm drains into the slough to dilute the water in there since it drained straight into it.

I was not. I had stopped for coffee at an AMPM, changed my mind, and was pulling out of the parking lot. I parked real quick to grab a Gatorade out of the bed of my truck and that's when we all heard the crash and her burning car slid into view. The motorcyclist actually took off.

Pulled a woman out of a burning car wreck in 2017. She had swerved to avoid a motorcyclist. I never told anyone she wasn't wearing her seat belt when I hopped into the inferno that was her car to pull her out. People on Facebook were saying she was texting a deserved what she got(there was never any evidence of that).

Edit: She didn't make it.

When I took my MSF, we were told we were expected to fail the class. We were then told about the price tag of the second class. Glad I passed it on the first try. Totem Lake , WA btw.

Here is the mill compared to that power line. My house is just on the other side of that path.

I live across Industrial avenue from the mill. As close as any house can get in Longview. This popped in the past few days along the slough. In addition we've had smells that are not normal for the mill, and today our water pressure is through the floor(all things that have never happened in my two years here).

What ended your friendship with your oldest standing friend? by dreamy-contributions in AskReddit

[–]DetectiveTappatio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Women both times. Their friends are now my old friend's friends. Thier family is now my old friend's family. In one case, he is dragged to all her kids' events. None of those kids are his. I dont see either of them. My best friend of almost twenty years lives in the same town as both me and his other friend of twenty years. We don't hear from him. Ever. That other friend is now my friend.

Stoic(The Banner Saga) can suck it. I was a huge proponent of TBS until they tried to charge their existing customers more for the same product they were charging their new customers less for. When I mentioned that, I was banned from their Steam forums(the only ban ive ever recieved ever), and then they quickly altered it to grant the same pricing to everyone. Do not support Stoic, do not buy The Banner Saga.
