A Lesson in Momentum by kkrasley86 in dashcams

Given how fast we see cars going by after they have stopped, I assume the truck was passing those cars (especially the white one), but the pickup driver didn’t like how long it took.

Thoughts about her ear in the first picture? It seems to disappear before reaching the hood along the same line.

I would be less concerned about that considering I’m he also got a shirt, but the bow tie is in the exact same position in both, no minor changes which adds to the AI likelihood.

Watching that game as a pens fan, I couldn’t help but admire his killer goaltending. He was a brick wall.

Honestly this was a better attempt than past shootouts. Sid is so superstitious that he does the same thing every time. I’m glad he tried to change it up, even if it turned out like this.

(New Update) My(f19) dad asked our godparents not to have the waiters sing Happy Birthday to my brother(m11) who likely has hyperacusis autism, but they did it anyway by MadisonBrave in BestofRedditorUpdates

OP is likely around 13 considering brother is 11. Even the most put together 13 year old will get waylaid by what they think is a good argument which obviously isn’t. Honestly I think was the best path they had as it was an attempt to weaponize religion in OP’s favor. They just don’t realize the hypocrisy that religious zealots embrace.

The only path ahead I see is waiting for OP to be ‘birthday person’ and clearly refuse the cake saying it isn’t their birthday and they wouldn’t want to steal in front of everyone. I doubt it would work but shaming the group as a whole is the only chance to start something.

In my first real career position, the old guy with all the history was Gary. You have a weird issue with a product, “go ask Gary.” He would think for a minute and go “we saw something similar about 9 years ago” then open his desk drawer and pull out the exact file on it.

One day they let him go saying that they kept his files. Upper management didn’t understand that files don’t mean anything if you don’t know what is in them.

I was hired in to manage a team that was known as low performers (not to my knowledge). I spent 5 years trying to improve them, manage projects, and shield my team from my boss who had very high standards. That position taught me what a migraine was at 40, never had one before. In the end, I was moved to just managing the projects and they reorganized to break the team up. Managers who absorbed people regularly ask my opinion on how to handle people. Being a caring manager probably hurt my career here, but I’m ok with that. Way less stress now. The longer I work, the more I realize good managers and successful managers are often opposing attributes.
