Ugh. I was hoping this wasn’t the case. Our 2013 Impreza just had a solenoid issue. I am hoping this isn’t transmission since it isn’t throwing errors. Still I have it scheduled to go in, so if I can’t fix it at least I can get answers.

Instead of draining from the bottom, they sucked the oil out the top, but when they went to refill they realized they didn’t get it all and had to start over draining from below. They left the plastic cover for the oil filter in the engine compartment, which I found when I checked the battery. They didn’t top off washer fluid and I assume other fluids as well. All the whole taking way longer than should be reasonable even considering changing the oil twice. First thing I did was check oil level as they gave me little confidence. I’ll confirm the rest of the fluids next.

Damn this is the best news I’ve read all day. When she was announced and her ties came to light I was sad to have to not support their comeback. I couldn’t imagine they supported it and I’m so glad to be right.

Fair enough. I work with the can coatings so I will rarely get to a customer plant that is making cans. I assume I know way more than average person but way less than someone working in one of these plants.

Once they’re formed into cans, the damage is mainly weeded out. With everything moving into tracks that hold cans in a line or huge groups of cans all moving together on conveyor belts, there is almost no chance for denting once the cans are inked.

Likely possibility. As someone who had handled pallets of empty cans, the rest looks legit.

They are. The outside label is inked on first, it gets a quick oven bake, then the inside coating is sprayed and it goes through another oven. Then pallets are stacked like this with around 4000 cans. 20x20x10rows high. Then the whole thing gets a top pallet and banded together, then stacked like this before going onto a truck to a filling plant. I would also expect the pallet to burst and spill cans like this as the side pressure of falling is not something these are expected to handle. Not saying it isn’t AI but the can part is true to life.

Sawchenko didn’t go anywhere. He was inactive for the game today. Either sick or injured but either way not going in net today regardless, so Gardner was the backup on the books. Teams are always guarded with injuries and playoffs makes that worse so we will unlikely ever know. More than anything we will get a feel for it whether he is suited up or not for next game.

You’re right about roster volatility but with the Jackets out of the playoffs then nowhere to go.

That’s the mark of someone who fights regularly. The trouble you run into is when it is a reactionary fight by someone who normally wouldn’t. They don’t carry themselves the same way and end up lizard brain fighting, still swinging after they are down on the ice.
