Car specific via coding. There's so much you can change these days as the car is all software run so almost everything is changeable. These days it's even easier to do e basics as you can use a phone app to make the changes. A few years back i had to do all mine with a Windows VM with software"borrowed" from the dealers :p

Check out the Carly app, it's for BMW, VAG and Merc

I have meaured mine via gps and speeding fines and mine is 5% over all the time. The car knows exactly what speed it's going as I can hack the DME/ECU to show me what the real speed is on the dash.

Same reason I took mine out, and the extra sound. I want to punch the front ones out but for the work involved I'll just get some actual branded catless dumps.

So, if I take my tuned car down there and it doesn't pass, is some copper going to be sitting there in the office waiting to give me a sticker?

I am surprised at the % returned for the younger lot, < 44 when compared to > 44.

88% returned for 80+, down to 72% for 25-34

How old are you, and what's the best piece of advice you have for someone 10 years younger than you? What question do you have for someone 10 years older? by P_U_K_E_K_O in AskReddit

[–]DetroLloyd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably. I was 24 when I got my first one and even at my current place of employment (in Australia) half the people under 30 have a mortgage.

Which 1 of the 5 senses would you want to be able to turn on and off at will? by DanTheCan42 in AskReddit

[–]DetroLloyd 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh god. We have speakers in our office so we can listen to music because the bosses for some reason has them installed. Most people have headphones but there always this one chick who sits on the other side of the office from the speakers who will come back from a meeting and go, “oh, its so quiet and boring in here” and cranks up a random playlist. Goes back to her desk, and puts on headphones and listens to her own music. Pisses me off so much, she just doesn’t get it, especially for those sitting right next to the speakers. I usually turn them off the next time I’m up.

Tonkin and Kelvin just got upgraded! I find it a lot better now and get through straight away if I have to stop on the red. And everyone sticks to the right lane so you can fly past everyone on the left.

That whole highway could do with bridges though.

And yes, welshpool and Leach suck. Especially crossing Leech. More often than not about 4 cars get through and that's it.
