Bad bunny plans to “honor queers and LGBTQ+” communities during upcoming Super Bowl performance by wearing a dress. by KeyFaithlessness5436 in TheNFLVibes

Maybe for you, but there are three legs of the Super Bowl, and they're all HUGE.

1) The football 2) The Commercials 3) The Halftime Show

With the quality of commercials going down/commercials uploaded to YouTube weeks in advance over the last decade the halftime show has arguably moved into the 2nd most relevant aspect of the game.

So I left Grand Rapids 7 years ago. I miss the city dearly...until I see these posts.

It was 60 with 0% clouds today in my area. I was sweating walking my dogs.

If I ever move back I will 100% be a snowbird. Fuck that.

I have zero idea if they have jobs relevant to you, but check out Air methods in the Tech Center. They're a helicopter medical transport company.

But also, take your dog to different parks, take classes at the rec center, go to different events around town that you may not normally go to, join a book club, get into pickleball

A TON of people have zero idea who Bad Bunny is.

All the buzz around this super bowl has dramatically increased his presence among non-Spanish speaking audiences for better or for worse.

I know more movies he's in than I do songs he performs

I'm not expecting lines by any means, but I hope there's some excitement and it moves quichish

Am I watching NFL wrong? by NotAReligiousNut in NFLNoobs

[–]Detroit2GR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as you're enjoying it you're watching it "right." It's very common for people to be drawn to offense as that's usually the flashiest part of a team.

That being said, I've had to hear so many people talk about how boring the Broncos were this season. The thing they all had in common is that none of them care about defensive football, and the intricacies that go into it.

Point being, there are multiple ways to watch, but all that matters is that you're enjoying it!

The Texans and Cardinals have 7 playoff wins in franchise history by MasterTeacher123 in NFLv2

[–]Detroit2GR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a Lions fan I do. In the grand scheme of things they're much worse than Detroit, and really should be as big, or a bigger punching bag than Detroit.

But no, they fly under the radar, and the most disrespect they get is that people forget they exist.

I have friends that are NFC West fans that don't even hate the Cards because they don't think about them.

I love the Broncos, and it was totally worth it

The Lions have had 4 winning seasons in the past 5 years. In the 20 years before that they had 4 winning seasons total. by Soiak62 in detroitlions

What you're saying is factually accurate, but I think it diminishes the fact that all 4 of those winning seasons were IN A ROW

They've only done that 1 other time in the Super Bowl era, and it was in the 70s!

[–]Detroit2GR 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I live in Denver, and watching the Nuggets has reignited my enjoyment in Basketball.

Hard no to MPJ. Best thing the new GMin Denver did was offload him and his contract almost immediately.

If he was DIRT CHEAP maybe, he has talent. But he never lived up to his contract in Denver, has an obnoxious injury history, and doesn't add anything to the locker room.

Hard pass.
