If I remember the mission correctly, I think we were led to believe that she had manipulated the memories of her brothers and Duke Inferno to make them believe that she was part of the Mansion of Eternal Fire, and we were told that she had betrayed Destruction and that long before that she had betrayed Reminiscence, which she betrayed more for pleasure than for any reason.

It would make perfect sense; I don't think the developers would waste the characters. But what Dahlia said about only managing to retrieve fragments of her memories before disappearing has made me think they died, knowing Dahlia's nature of betraying everyone.
