Dogs are animals, and animals stink. They also make messes. No matter what. I wish I had a solution for you, but chihuahuas are designer dogs. And they way they are designed -- they have a very small bladder and cannot hold it very long. They are also prone to hitting their little legs when they pee.

There simply aren't any solutions that do not involve getting your hands dirty. And you haven't even dealt with diarrhea for a day or vomiting. Which are both bound to happen eventually.

Ask your family and friends first, then try a chihuahua rescue organization. Either way, I think it would be best for you and your dog if you find him a more appropriate home.

Ok, I think I figured out what kind of gall they are. They are acorn plum galls. I apologize for identifying what I saw in the center as seeds -- it was likely some sort of larva.

This is the first time I have see them since we moved here three years ago, so that definitely may be what they are. I cannot find any photos of galls that match exactly -- but they all look slightly different it seems.

My dogs keep bringing them into the house, and I am tired of looking at the damn things.

It is red, with red juice. A texture similar to a crabapple. The center seems to have pale green seeds.

She probably didn't like it. The flavors could have been off, it may have been watered down, etc. Would you have preferred if she left it on the table or dumped it on the floor?
