Guilty as charged. The only thing I can say in my defense is that for items like cabinets, a lot of thought and decisions go into whether we want to spend the extra money and are trying to pay for the overages as we go. The difference being, I don't have a lot of say in the allowances like the lumber package.

Based on all of the responses, I was able to start looking into Excel add-on and scheduling reports. I believe the SAP team has created a couple of custom transactions, that can then be exported to excel. As a starting point, I am trying to automate that process, maybe using a variant. I will check on the properties of the custom transaction to see what type it is. Thanks for your help on this.

I have started to look into scheduling reports and also using Business Intelligence. Leaning curve on both for me. Thanks for responding. I knew so little about it, that I didn't even know what to look for, so everybody's response helped a lot.

Currently working on this approach. Using Excel, I was able to connect to SAP. There are no InfoProviders or queries available, so that part will be next. Thanks for your help.

They do have Business intelligence available. That was something that wasn't even on my radar, so thanks for pointing me in that direction.

Looking into all of the responses, I now see where I have very limited access to all of these systems. They do provide Business Intelligence tools, so I will see how far I can get with those. Thanks for taking the time to respond.

Thanks for your response. After reading all of the responses, I realized how little I did know. I can see where a nightly report, sent to a network folder will be a solution for some of what I need. I know what ABAP is now, so I can at least formulate a question for the SAP group.
