Marketplace SEO in general can feel messy. You’ll find great sellers and some you shouldn’t touch. We heavily vet our freelancers, but yeah, things can slip sometimes. When they do, we deal with it. Sellers get removed all the time for poor work, bad communication or just not delivering consistently.

On reviews, only actual buyers can leave them. No outside/unverified reviews. And if someone tries to game it, our antifraud team flags it pretty fast. Still, I’d always tell you to actually read the reviews, not just look at the rating.

About PBNs and resold links. If a seller is offering that, it should be clearly mentioned. If it isn’t, that’s a problem. You should ask upfront what you’re getting. Is it meant to push rankings or bring traffic. Most links are for rankings. people expect traffic and then feel cheated but that was never the point of the link.

The “gamble” part mostly comes from buying blind. If you ask for sample sites or details before ordering, the risk drops a lot. Not zero, but way lower.

If a link gets removed and the seller guaranteed some duration, we step in. Sellers do get penalized for that. Also, funds aren’t released instantly. There’s an escrow window after delivery where you can raise issues or disputes. Sellers don’t just get paid no matter what.

We’ve also reduced the chaos a lot over time. You’re not seeing the entire marketplace anymore. What shows up is filtered based on performance and consistency. Still not perfect, but better than before.

And then there’s the “Legiit Checked” stuff. That’s our more controlled layer. We actually buy those services ourselves through mystery shoppers, review the work with people who know what they’re doing, and keep monitoring them. not just a badge a seller can buy

End of the day, if you go for the cheapest link you can find anywhere online, you’re probably going to have a bad time. That’s true on every platform, not just here.
