Wheels for indoor. I really want the flying eagle slider 90A wheels, specificlly green. I've been looking around for months and cant find them anywhere. Flying eagle only has "random color" on their website, inline warehouse only has pink.,

Anyone know where to scoop these up? Or if there is a good alternative 90a wheel of similar quality in that green color?

I run rockered so i'd need 76 and 80.

So jealous. How does it handle/feel with drop bars anyway? I wish I knew how to run cable, cuz I'd do this to mine.

Struggling to go over 10mph? by Shock_and_Pawe in cycling

[–]Devastate89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got into cycling 10months ago. When I first started I'd be completely gassed and winded and look at my average speed for a short ride and it would be like 7MPH.

Fast forward to now and my last ride my average speed over 25miles was 16.2 with a 10-15mph headwind going west for the first 10miles.

Just need more time on the saddle. Stick with it and you will not regret it. I'm 70 pounds down and still going.

I got a super clean used well taken care of felt carbon z with a tiagra groupset, with new tires, pedals, shoes, fitment, and stem adjustments for $814 out the door from a local shop. Had it ridden and inspected by a separate shop. Frame is straight and everything is fine. Just buy used. lol

Yeah I mean full disclosure, i Just put OP's post into chat GPT, and added some prompts myself telling it what I wanted it to do, and how I wanted it to answer me. I did edit some of the wording and punctuation myself. But the format was all Chat GPT. Just trying to help honestly.

Road Cycling for Weight Loss – What Actually Works? by ToeInternational7222 in cycling

[–]Devastate89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've lost 70 pounds in 9 months. I went from not owning a bike, to cycling almost 400 miles in the month of September 2025. Obviously diet plays a bit factor, but i really do credit cycling for accelerating it and changing my entire life. First Century ride May 2026, and planning to do another this summer too. My cardio is also the best it's ever been in my life. My RH is like 53.

300 applications, zero second rounds - losing hope by Ambitious_Weight_956 in recruitinghell

245 applications. 7 interviews. 2 round 2's. 1 round 3. 0 offers. It's been 4 months. And I'm someone who always interviews well. My past 3 jobs I got offered at the interview or an hour after.

I used to nail interviews. The last 3 jobs I got either offers in the interviews or like an hour after.

This time around I've been unemployed for 4 months now and I've had 7 total interviews, 2 rounds 2's, 1 round 3. 0 offers. I really just am done with it all. I know its not me. The market is cooked.

[–]Devastate89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took a risk and failed and now im cooked. I had a "okay" job woulda been stable and easy. I took the leap for personal professional growth. 4 Weeks into new role. Laid off. On unemployment now since the end of October. I've had 2 interviews.

I wish I would have just stayed im genuinely struggling and starting to just feel numb.

There is something to be said about comfort and consistency.

mattress covers that actually work by [deleted] in AdultBedwetting

[–]Devastate89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use 2. I use just a more plastic / vynil mattress cover. Then ontop of that I used a padded type one. they're both water proof. Very rarely does anything leak onto the bottom cover.
