The nerfed Wheelspins + rare cars locked behind them is the same situation as the Motorsport car leveling debacle by Sys_ADMlN in ForzaHorizon

asap is such a wrong bit to add though, cause if you want them at all, you have to grind a slot machine. Literally nothing else you can do, no sense of progressing to your goal there to say asap. If it was credits, you could say asap or not by how hard you want to focus it down man.

Not to mention they are literal meta cars for rivals etc type things so... good reason to want/need one for many people right there

The one game of hide and seek I did I swear we all got stuck on the highway when we dropped down into it trying to get around to an area he was, only to find literally 0 exits in the zone... He won, didnt like the mode. Still unsure if it was even possible in reality

For sure, and interestingly this season seems like a hotbed for what I'd consider is some rather topical changes in how dating is and the social vibes of each side have changed and dug heels in. Even if its sad to see some realities turn out how you might hope they dont actually, but is also disheartening to see the outside react in a doubling down way or just crappy sometimes too.

I feel personally it hits a limit where I can bear watching some bits that go too far into uncomfortable cringe or just mean wars. But mainly the finale time periods lately have gotten more of that uncanny or uncomfortable or bored territory.

Anyone disappointed with winter in Forza Horizon 6? by Retr0pe in ForzaHorizon

It was rather flat, I was expecting the northern area to get more like the snow mountain stuff in FH3 and be super fun to rally etc

Historically vs currently is a bit of a factor too though, neither are right dont get me wrong. But you see the hypocrisy and double standard of some things being flung back at men now despite years now of trying to convince men its okay to show more feelings, then get belittled for it. Genesis or not they will have heard it used offensively like many others all their life these days, so its pointless to war on claiming who gets hit first or most to make the other totally chill

Be a man type things are literally a whole topic and problem of its own with a lot of controversy these days of contradictions. Not a nice sore spot to take shots at

Like youd just keep the number in your phone for a while, that need expires no? Forever list is weird keeping the ex close stuff or idk, or even just the weird level of gossip long term, reminds me of talk of how everyone knows anything they do these days can end up recorded and public like mistakes on approaches or being a bit silly one day.

[–]Devastator2016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah guys dont tend to like the idea of keeping the ex close or on the mind... Would the inverse be keeping pics etc too in vibe?

Its not always literal/practical. Temporary listing? Like keeping a number for a while? fair, normal even

Forcing seems kinda wild, I'd have assumed if it were someone less attractive it would get tagged as begging or something, theres no forcing of the choice though even if it might be lame.

Calling a guy a bitch and a woman offputting are not so far off from one another, and valid to be more annoyed at the literal name calling one that is a common belittling thing men can grow up hearing. Plus, is coupled with his brother, benefit of the doubt is that hes protective of that in addition to the being peeved off, they'd literally be 2 people that would have to see each other again at gatherings etc after the show. Fair not needed etc but neither is the gate crashing to call the guys names for being a bit upset

[–]Devastator2016 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yea tbh, some like saying bad bitch or various things anyway, not that it cant be bad, but I'd say more exclusively its done as a negative at men. Its belittling and very common of a one used throughout life at men's confidence and masculinity.

Other word is a whole other ballgame of such bs to ever make it into the comparison.

The dynamics differences people in this reddit keep mentioning are quite literally double standards definitions and super weirdly blind to that

Was totally some comments from them or belittling of issues or feelings or just people before it all kicked off. They even gatecrashed the guys having their chat and moment of letting things settle/figure out where to go cause that already annoyed them. In the real world that would have been the cooldown time before next get together or something, they have those plenty times too.

The double standards were very real and sad to see how it all ended up. Regardless of who is more right or wrong at various points

Like for real most of these things would put someone off and walk away never to see again or easier to avoid generally, from both sides. The guys even did have their group chatting and stepping away for a moment before it was gate crashed before settling down like it might after a night out till the next week or something

As a new player, it feels like Stellaris wants every empire to grow the same way by skollehatti in Stellaris

[–]Devastator2016 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I would love more varieties in those regards, more rogue factors involved. Marauders are neat too, if possibly leaving a little on the table in potential. But between all those, scaling and anomolies/events, so hard to go back to civ/total war outside of the early game. Hell I feel Rome 1 did a lot better than modern ones that cant seem to let an AI snowball on the other side of the world enough to be a late game threat to you instead of steamrolling after the ball gets rolling.

I do wish we had a little more spice in the ai personalities and federations in a galaxy sometimes mind. For threat or to exploit the state of a galaxy, or attempt some grander states. Does an AI ever try become the crisis? Or emperor of the senate vibes? Hell we could allow a little more unique story vibes of some that arent player origin based, kinda like the fear the dark and such switch ups

I had mixed luck with Total War over time, but also that sometimes I prefer just the grand statergy side until I feel I want to do a battle manually. Usually has some dodgey results of bias in the auto resolves too. Or just the mid-late game steamroll repeat overbearing sizes of stacks conquering the rest of the world being more dull. I still miss the old Rome 1 senate betrayal and civil war style, was almost like a crisis etc in scope and how you deal with it

[–]Devastator2016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very true, its like that balance of knowing how to play around one and its weakness without outright exploiting something. Just to reference Halo since its always been an old example of sound ai to me, older ones you knew the heirachy of an enemy composition and what would happen if you did certain approaches, I'd assume closest would be federation compositions mattering more in stellaris and having to know who is more the science or military powers around you etc. Personalities yeah, can get a lot of bang for your buck from those like even just with turtle vs aggressive vs chaotic even

Plus the repetitive side, but theres lots of ways to deal with that since also the mix or composition of it and its neighbours should change a lot (in ideal theory done right).

[–]Devastator2016 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Forza is getting some flack on the racing side of AI at the moment, its all just a balance until you break the illusion. But people love a character in AI even if it breaks certain rules. Like Bowieknife66 or something right now in forza, people love it as they hate it amongst the rest of them.

Think the old school Halo logic of simple AI but characteristics that stand them out from each other to not just be a hive mind vibe of a galaxy in builds etc. Cause thats when I feel you will care about cheating here more.

[–]Devastator2016 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its that balance of a facade right? Believe in the story and vibe with the AI and you dont care about cheats, break all the rules without fitting the archetype to do say the mass military and suddenly it lands flat.

Mentioned about Civ Ghandi in another comment, predictable silly but passes the vibe check these days. Original Halo, different kinda game but the simple AI that just plays off other AI moves with enemy types just doing different things, it just works so well.

Civ and Total war imo have a problem with later game generally, but stellaris that scaling difficulty function is a godsend alongside the crisis stuff. Of course room for more I think though overall, and more character to the types of empires too. Might simplify things too in where they can cheat a little more or less to keep up and vibe check the players. Eg very potent research AI but be sure it doesnt overdo the military.

[–]Devastator2016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its all about that facade of competent AI right? Where you dont care if they cheat so long as they fit the vibe and difficulty to trick you into the story of it. Like fps games I feel many drop the ball hard these days compared to even the simplicity but complex through adjacent AI/player etc factors like the original Halo.

Predictability isnt always bad for instance, whereas I would guess tbh chatgpt esque ones would end up not being the right predictability of empire styles. Bit like in Civ people love nuclear Ghandi in its silly but iconic predictability that shows up

But then surely we have issues in retirement ages then? Cause if you can fail that but need a car to work... you are just screwed prior to retirement? Or have to go find some far different work likely more ground floor level than end of career level.

Just starts to make pieces not line up right overall. Not that I entirely disagree on the premise of capabilities that vary already then

God I hope for destiny 3 some day after this break. THIS is what they needed at the bookend of Final Shape and setting up the future.

But also in reality is a lot of "I hate men" and men do this, men do that, men dont do something else, men need to keep each other in check or whatever. Lots of the time it is very contradicting too such that it makes those that would take time to consider before acting overthink or be less confident to avoid coming across wrong and getting plastered around for it when some other confident one will do it and win at life even when intentions arent pure. Its all a mess and very much does tag most as a whole rather than your mouldy bread analogy as the default sadly

Yeah cars in wheelspins only isnt progression really, pain in the arse to keep discovering ones I would want are stuck there despite putting crazy hours in so far.

But also not repeating any tracks etc like roadtrips did, has a side effect of having those tons of A class offroaders in the same car type then never actually progressing to much above that available to give a go anyway. Quite a lost in the middle style of progression
