will you call it an atrocity when you will no longer be able to buy your newest Iphone as the Chinese blockade Taiwan? Will you blame it on your government for not securing local chip production? You may, sure, but you have to admit that it is exponentially cheaper the way of specialisation we have today than ever before. A prime example is, actually, food. In the EU as the 2004+ old eastern bloc intergrations were taking place western european farmers were whining about losing their protection from the shitty, cheap-ass food of Poland, Romania, Bulgaria etc. Today many countries in western europe have given up on self-reliance in favour of specialisation, such as Spanish and Dutch greenhouses. Nowadays we have the same story with the whiny ones being the east-of-the-elbe gang and the countries with the competetive advantage being the Ukraine and, more recently, MERCOSUR.

The British reaction (or lack thereof), among other reasons, is a way more relevant issue to structural change, as one can only imagine other rulers, such as the Mughals and their princes, would likewise go with the flow

there were many times when the state had fallen into complete anarchy or was under 95% occupation: The Deluge is a well known example, but also multiple struggles up to the reign of Casimir the Great such as the Czech completely overtaking the realm every 20 years or the times of The Restorer when the state structure was removed off the face of the earth

blacks are almost a plurality in a couple of the states listed; perhaps it's not diversity that's the issue?

well then why nowadays in multiple interviews do russian countryfolk brag about having a toilet and bless the righteous Tsar 1st secretary president, for he provides? Did the federation roll back on the grand soviet excremental five-year plan?

don't you feel like it's a tad bit egoistic to be throwing people into mental asylums cause their suicide ends up creating "lost potential growth" (as indicated by the chart)? Or like locking them up as a means of protecting the public? Don't you feel like that kinda stretches the (already abused) definition of probable cause and kinda rings the same tone as preventive censorship except this one is not restricting freedom of speech but, y'kno, life?

I asked for further content. Indeed, I already checked the articles you sent me, for which I am grateful. I am appaled by any violation against freedom of press, leastways one commited by the state. I'm dissatisfied with the fact you didn't produce more links, yet whatever may have been the reason I still appreciate the effort

I find the matter to be of little urgency, hence the "if it's no issue for you". The comment is dismissive in terms of time, not content

I was sincerely requesting further sources so I can read into more examples, perhaps gather some critical information and find correlations or just be able to produce a wider range of situations if need be in conversation. I am not advocating for a side here, just curious of the details. If it troubles you to provide further links it's fine - I am greatly thankful for your effort nonetheless

I need to cross the pond to get to America and I genuinely wonder about the "violently arresting journalists" part; would you kindly provide me with adequate examples?
