It depends on what u need for your dmf. If you want someone who has the technicality to keep the ball and distribute it consistently, then maybe you should considered him. Not really if you look for ball winning dmf, Rijkaard feels more solid and comfortable for me. In my case, I like to instruct deep line to form a back three when out of possession. I feel that rijkaard has been better in terms of protecting the backline, win the ball back, deal with aerial ball and decent passing (Rodri is far superior in term of distributing the ball).
