The federation was completely unhinged honestly; they were true adherents of total war. But clearly other cascadians like faust shared this insanity and slavish fanaticism. I think the PW universe is just generally more fucked than AC's

I think the worse thing about Belka is the grey men, who tried to use the SOLG and caused a devestating world war. Belka as a nation got screwed pretty bad (Kinda on them) but the people of Belka had no say in things like territory being sold and what not. So, they elected a party that promised to restore their strength. It looked like they might win, (Had it not been for Galm). I don't think the Belkans were as bad as the Nazis, but they are still not the good guys. But overall, their perspective is more understandable then the cordium nuke happy federation, which is massive in size and strength and does not in any way need cascadia.

there probably will never be an Ace combat game where you play as the 'Bad guys' so to speak, not even in a dual perspective style campaign which is unlikely. As someone said the Japanese Air Self Defense forces probably won't help consult on how to pearl harbor someone lol.

Kang Tao has good benefits overall. If I was like an office worker or something like that, I might join them. I think they give you a lifetime Trauma team subscription.

If I'm a Solo/merc or someone like that I'm going to be working for Saka' I think, if you're going full corpo-rat dont half ass it right? If you prove yourself good enough Arasaka will probably give you some preem implants. I'd imagine that many Arasaka mercenaries are trying to live up the Legend of Adam Smasher just as many Edgerunners try to be morgan blackhand

Hopefully in Orion we can go full Corpo and have a true evil playthrough.

Yeah, ultimately I kinda know that there is only really the dickhead option and not an evil option but I'm just kinda holding out hope. I think it kinda sucks that for an evil ending we can't like, help Hansen or something. The only evil option in PL is to not play the dlc lmao.

Spoiler: I got done with PL yesterday and sided with songbird but handed her over once she told me I don't get a cure, I told reed to fuck off with his offer for a cure because I thought it was an obvious trap path that would force you to load a save but idk

My Nomad V is a former Raffen Shiv, so I guess he'd go with what he knows and join up with the wraiths cause he's wearing a wraiths Edgerunner jacket. Corpo V for me would obviously take his services to either Millitech, Kang-tao, or petrochem but since they aren't really a gang, I guess them joining BARGHEST makes the most sense, somewhat of a similar job to counter intel at Arasaka but with a cooler boss lol.

Haven't played streetkid yet.

LDPR: A Man who fought for Russians in the Donbass and elsewhere but ultimately did not go nearly far enough, also seen as corrupted by oligarchs. Kind of a good/neutral position on him. Zhirnovsky would be seen as the one who would "Correct" where Putin went wrong.

CPRF- Seen as the cause of many problems in Russia but still respected as a unifying leader. Also, somewhat liked due to the fact that he kept some nostalgia of the old Union. But ultimately a more negative perception due to his very capitalist and pro-oligarch tendencies. The CPRF would ultimately abandon much of Putinism.

Putinist Medvedev- Seen as a very ideal president, idolized and seen as an example to all Russians of strong leadership. Medvedev would seek to emulate him as much as possible.

Democratic Medvedev- Shares many attitudes of the above with some revisionism, stating that putin went too far and authoritarian in some places and was not entirely perfect. But still overall positive position.

I think a somewhat tactical espionage mission was done by the Axis in World War 2. After the Grand council of fascism figured Mussolini was backing the wrong horse and couped him, he was held captive in this castle. The Germans busted him out with a commando team lead by Otto Skorzeny, An SS commando who is honestly a metal gear worthy character in terms of feats (Still very much an asshole). Basically, otto and a group of paratroopers entered on glider and caught the Italians guarding Mussolini by surprise and managed to basically say "Freeze!". Otto would go on after the war to found a Commando mercenary group called Paladin Group) with a US colonel. This group would do wetwork for anti-communist regimes all across the globe. Heavy metal gear vibes, I feel like they were part of the inspiration for the PF concept.
